Have been coming to Bristol for 20+ years and Prime Cuts has always been a go to record shop. I’ve always had a love of basement record shops that make you dig for gold.This shop specialises in urban, jazz, soul etc but still has seriously good records across all genres (i used to buy a lot of indie/alternative and 60’s from here). Prices are decent too, last LP i bought here was Ray Barretto’s Acid, a really nice original pressing at a good price.Always worth a visit

A great basement record shop with the best 70s funk, disco, soul section I’ve seen amongst many other genres. If you love African America music from the 70s to early 80s this is the place for you. They had many records that I’ve had to seek out via the internet there on the shelf. It’s the first record shop I head to when visiting Bristol however a tad on the expensive side but highly recommended.

Excellent basement store for us record collectors. Most styles and genres covered to one degree or another plus CD's. Prices are reasonable for secondhand, Mike is very knowledgeable but I just wish he would write on the labels before applying to the record sleeve. Remember to check the walls as well as the bins.

I funkin love this shop... from Mike who runs it and the absolute mountain of stock in the place, in da basement for what I wanted funk soul disco sugarhill old skool hip hop all things in between, all genres rare stuff galore priced for everyone's pockets, boxes of singles cheapycheap lots of decent dead stock found a pile of pristine soul2soul singles but lost them again there was that much... Found a wee stash of equally .prepare to stay 3chours if you're a true digger.. I need more time, much more time...

Squeeze yourself into this music paradise, its in the cellar of a great vintage clothing shop. amazing selection of all genres . Massive hip-hop selection. All at great prices. If your on the gloser then make sure you visit this place.

Nice vinyl store mainly focused on electronic music, hip-hop, and jazz. If you seek rock genres you won't find many pieces here.

I went there to buy some hip hop records and I enjoyed. You've got a loads of records and many genres to choose from.The staff is very helpful and the atmosphere is great down there.It is important to note Prine Cuts is located inside another vintage store, so it might be tricky to find that.
