Matilda’s Bistro Cafe
French toast isn’t hard to make, but the cook basically stuck an omelette to one side of the bread. I had a burger which was so greasy it slid out of the bun. I did complain about my wife’s French toast but it fell on deaf ears and we as we always do paid full price. But at least it would be the last time.

Mediocre food. Staff were nice and we sat for ages sipping tea and chatting but i wouldn't go back. No parking directly outside although its not far. Lots of traffic in a small place. Close to Roahl Dahl museum.

Matilda’s Bistro Cafe
What an amazing cafe. Clean, plenty of choice, including kids options and affordable. Eating at tea time with hungry young boys, we enjoyed a delicious meal. Kids were delighted with dessert options and the yummy option of smoothies and milkshakes. All reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere. Staff were very friendly.

If you're in Great Missenden, you must check out Matilda's which is far superior to 'good old Costa' next door – in choice & quality of food, coffee, service, everything. Park on the Link Road for free or in the public car park.
