Very friendly staff, will accommodate you in the best way they can, even if its very busy. Me and my son got 2 lovely little bikes off them. Really cheap too. I recommend Gearing up to others that need a bike or something fixing on their existing bike.

Simon and jis tram made a fantastic job of my bike at a very low price. Part of a Social Enterprise so profits go to a good cause too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. You won't be sorry if you use them.

What a brilliant place. Without my really asking, they resolved my disc brake problems front and rear. And the price was unbelievable given what you normally get charged these days.

Great as always. Really helpful. Put a cassette on for me . Took some old pedals off that I couldn't budge.also indexed the gears and noticed my teeth where worn on my chain ring put a second hand one on with plenty of life left for next to nothing. Also got some nice lightly used tyres. All for £30 very friendly .

Fantastic service at impressive prices. Would highly recommend GearingUp if you need a bike service and are hard up for cash.If you can afford it then please support your local independent bike shop instead and maybe consider a donation to GearingUp who are doing a great job for the less well off.

Brought my bike in today for a service. Excellent customer service, very pleasant ,knowledgeable chap( Simon,I think his name was). Gave it a once over and a few tweaks.Said it didn’t require a full service and didn’t charge me anything! Amazing getting such good help in these days .Will definitely be going back and 100% recommend. 5/5
