Kingdom of Sweets

Never saw so many sweets in one place...but still didn't like the place. A lot of the sweets are unknown to me. The background music was very loud hip hop or rap. The assistants didn't seem to know much.

Bought jelly babies for my child. Paid a fortune and they were inedible. They were that hard they were like hard boiled sweets. For what they charge these should be fresh every day, these must have been there exposed for at least a week. Better at Wilko down the road in a sealed bag for a fraction of the price.

Loud music, deafening infact. It also wasn't suitable for kids. Terrible staff, terrible prices

Alsorts of sweets, big choice only downside was staff all stood behind the tills, 4 staff members and non on shop floor, even though shop was quiet. Yes it's a great sweet shop

Really poor quality products.Complained but never got a reply.Lots of staff all behind the till area.Very expensive same items can be found elsewhere allot cheaper.Very Disappointed

Quite simply the most blatant rip-off you can imagine.£10 for a bag of Cheetos?? The pick and mix is so expensive and there’s no way of weighing to see how much it is.Never again

Very expensive and would have taken back....jellies were stale and hard..but I went home then opened the bag...not happy at all...I could have got the same amount for £2....they cost me £11.50..only find out when I get to the till...complete rip off.

so expensive! can't find out how much your pick n mix is going to cost until you get to the counter so that you have to pay it. a lot of loud music as well...its a sweet shop not rosie's.

Together with other reviews, found this place a rip off. First of all I left my partner and son to browse the shop, absolutely horrified to find out how much they spent and the quality of some items in the shop.Of the short time I spent in the shop I observed the followin. Next to the sales counter they had out of best before date pop tarts and next to them, the were selling Gummie Burgers for a £1 whereas in most supermarkets they are about 30p. Not being that interested in sweets I left my partner and son to browse.As another example of pricing some of the sweets were not marked. So, when my partner went to pay for some Tootsie Rolls, the counter assistant couldn't remember if they 30p or 50p each so decided to charge 50 seemingly on a whim.The absolute worst part and what really prompted us to write this review was the popcorn my son bought. When we got it home my son tried the popcorn and he said it tasted funny. We both then tried the popcorn and found it unbelievably tasted of chemicals or some kind of plastic. It was vile and the taste stay with us for a good while afterwards. My son said it was reduced so looking closely at the bucket, it had no sell by date on it. Absolutely disgusting and has put us all of popcorn for a while.I would never reccommend this place to anyone, over priced, selling out of date items and popcorn that belongs more at Chemical Plant rather than a sweet shop. A terrible experience.

Really good sweet shop with sweets from all over the world, also a few nerdy items from Harry potter. Very friendly staff the only down side I felt was the music was way to loud.
