Brands Hatch

Went for the weekend to watch the season finale of the BTCC.What a great event.Loads of different racing throughout the day, food options and bars.The campsite is a good size with toilets and showers too.Of course the circuit is amazing!Just go!

We went to brands hatch for the truck racing and fireworks. It was a brilliant day and I would recommend it to anyone, particularly families. Especially if you have young children since the fireworks are nice and early at 5.15pm.Although this won't be the same for everyone we got parked straight away and only had to walk a couple of minutes to get into the track. There were loads of great food trucks, a lot of fun fair rides appropriate for all ages. Most of them were £4 or £5 per person so not cheap but all good and short queues as there were so many.We bought a picnic and had a picnic because the food is very expensive. However we would probably most people bring folding chairs if you're there for the day.The racing was excellent to and there were plenty of races on throughout the day. It was very busy and quite muddy in places so make sure you dress appropriately. I'd recommend wellies and waterproofs.The fireworks were some of the best I have ever seen and is probably worth the money for those alone! Great value day and a brilliant experience as long as you're prepared.

Great family day out, affordable tickets and quick.access to motorways. The events are always very well organised. The car park is free unless you want to park on the Southbank, where you can have a great view and BBQ. You don't need to walk miles to the toilets as there are many well situated apart.

Amazing atmosphere!!! Make sure you wear warm clothes and proper shoes as can get muddy when it rains! Would recommend either leaving earlier or wait for another 1.30hrs after the firework to reduce waiting time for leaving the car park. However, it's a great way to spend the day and lots of fun things to do for families and children! Loved the drifting session!!

We really enjoyed a family day out at the Go Japan festival of Japanese cars at Brands Hatch. This was our first time at a car festival, and the first at a racetrack, so we were not quite sure what to expect. Everything went very smoothly. We arrived quite late in the morning and there were no queues to get in with pre-booked tickets. Once inside, there was a clear map and it was easy to navigate. There were drift races and time trials running on the track, with parades in between them to keep things interesting. Lots of shops for t-shirts, stickers, flags and car paraphernalia, and quite a few food cabins as well as regular bars. We were lucky with the weather, and enjoyed browsing around the many car clubs to see the cars, and chat with the friendly visitors. We also had a chance to see the racing cars in the paddocks, and also see the drift taxis taking paying guests for a circuit, sideways, surrounded by squealing tires and smoke. A lot of fun!

Went here for BTCC. The track is one of the best, in my opinion. The marshalls are professional, staff are friendly, and food is good. A great weekend away. We camped, and that was everything we hoped for with a camp site.

Great race course with plenty to do. We went for the special event on the 5th of November and really enjoyed the day out.There is plenty of parking. However, the directions to find it are a bit messy. We needed to park in the overflow parking space, and some stewards were not helpful and seemed annoyed.On the grounds, you've got a lot of food, drinks and gift stalls. When we came, there were rides for kids and plenty of activities to keep them busy between races.Definitely will be back.

The iconic Brands Hatch was everything I expect it to be, my friends and I had an absolute blast at Go Japan! The racing and drifting was amazing and seeing all the awesome retro classic japanese cars was a real treat, ours were also on show! The trade stands were packed with lots of cool stuff for sale, I spent way too much money! We got to see the track lap record broken that day too.... Amazing! Looking forward to next year!

Had a fantastic day out enjoying the last day of the British superbike race. Very organised and well maintained place. Lots of interesting shows and exhibitions. Great selection of foods to enjoy.
