Earlier this week me and my daughter went to visit Gina at Vala, our first visit to the salon and both left feeling amazing!! Gina was patient and playful with my daughter, entertaining her never ending questions all while giving her a killer bob cut and fringe, so much so that she (my daughter) asked me to post on MY Instagram about her new cut! Then it was my turn....Gina really listened to what I wanted and totally understood how my hair behaves. And after a few days and washing it at home, it's dried into such a lovely natural shape. The salon feels relaxed and welcoming, a really asset to this community!

Really pleased with my haircut from Gina! Gina was a great listener who understood exactly what i wanted from my very limited directions and the execution was 10/10. I also learnt a lot about curly hair! Lovely laid back environment - great value for money, great chat, great music, great vibes. Thanks!

Had an amazing time at Vala- cannot sign their praise enough. Kyle is an amazing hairdresser and I'll definitely be going back there.They're so welcoming and also very kind to those who have a mask exemption. Would 10/10 recommend this salon to everyone.

This salon is amazing! Really friendly service and a truly relaxing environment. Gina cut my hair and I am really happy with it. Gina was great at giving me advise on how to look after my hair and the end result was everything I wanted. Will definitely be coming back :)

I love this place! I’m quite picky with how I like my hair cutting - Kyle nailed it, a hairdresser that actually listens to what you want!! I went back for a treatment and style with Shannon - it was a lush relaxing and fun experience. The products they use are amazing - smells incredible, doesn’t flatten your hair or leave it greasy (in fact I didn’t need to wash my hair for 3 days!!). Some hairdressers can be intimidating but not this place ... it’s just a really cool, chilled place with an awesome friendly team! Highly recommend it!

I had my hair bleached after going natural for a year. I almost bottled out but Claire was totally cool about it and let me offload my worries!I went for it, and Claire did the most gorgeous toner, it looks fabulous and I'm really chuffed!I'll definitely be back, thank you Claire!

Really thrilled to have tried out this new salon, which opened up just around the corner from my home, as I'd been wanting to visit for weeks now (whilst peering in the window every time I walked passed).Kyle cut and styled my hair for me and I loved the result of the blow dry and my hair, which really needed a trim, feels and looks much more healthy now.There's a friendly and chilled atmosphere inside the place and the whole experience was relaxing, despite covid anxieties. I really recommend using them if you live local. Thanks guys ❤️

I tried Vala for the first time recently and I am a convert! After going to most of the usual suspects in town before, I will now be a loyal Vala gal. I can honestly say the creamy color and gorgeous cut from Kyle is the best I've ever had! A super chilled salon with talented people working there. It's so good I almost thought about not sharing to keep this secret to myself (but that's not nice!) *****
