Went today for a Christmas meal, for the first time in years. Huge shout out to the chef..the food was incredible , and festive menu refreshingly innovative .Our party had everything off the menu, and couldn't be faulted.I had festive mac and cheese, cheesy mushrooms, and sticky toffee pudding , and they were delicious.The turkey dinners and soup looked divine,( and were I am told, along with the festive burger and pate) 3 courses for £22 was simply incredible value .The waiting and bar team, could not have done more.Wonderful service.Thank you SO very much team Watermill, and Merry Christmas x

We were 3 friends meeting up for a meal to celebrate Christmas.The meals were excellent, prompt service. The atmosphere was very warm, friendly and welcoming. The Christmas decorations were very tastefully done.Staff polite and efficient, nothing too much trouble.Very impresssed overall will be visiting again real soon.

Met a friend at the Watermill on a grey day and had a couple of coffees and some lunch and used their facilities. Place was very quiet for most of the visit, I imagine it to be popular and far more busy at popular times (evenings and weekend?) Located beside water the outside tables and chairs would be an attraction in good weather.Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Service was efficient. Food was fine albeit not memorable in as much as I cannot now recall what I ordered.Environment was pleasant enough, dark rather than light in most areas. Toilets were clean.No parking problems for my visit and access of main roads was good.

Nice looking pub and has been well decorated for Christmas. Pleasant service when ordering, food was decent, wait times for food were very long. Saw peoples food coming out who ordered after us frequently and it was only 2 burgers, but when it did come it was good without being great.

Booked a large family party for the festive menu. We were very impressed with the service, the quality of the food and the helpfulness of all the staff. The evening ran smoothly and we all had a fantastic evening.

Lovely canal view outlook, loads of seating, meals available lunch to evening, good value mid afternoon options. Very friendly staff and good service. Nice outdoor areas too.

We stayed 2 nights at the Travel Lodge opposite and used this pub for meals, the food was excellent and the service was excellent and prompt. I asked the waitress Emma G to congratulate the team in the kitchen. Cooper and Matt produced lovely food that my wife and myself really enjoyed. Well done to you all!

Went to the soft opening today the 5th August the welcome was nice and helpful we ordered our food at the bar and food took a little time bit when arrived was nice and hot and very tasty I went for the Sunday roast with roast beef very nice indeed my daughter had the mac & cheese both enjoyed it, I had a Guinness which wasn't bad at all, staff was training ans was a bit ropy in places but what you expect on training day, we had pudding my daughter had chocolate fudge cake and I had the blood orange brownie with ice cream very nice indeed overall not bad the menu seems a bit small in places but overall not bad
