Friendly and helpful staff, great service and value for money on bike repairs and servicing.On my most recent visit they were able to assess the issue I had with my rear brakes on my road bike, and on the spot order the part I needed and book me in to have it installed. When I brought it back they also fixed an issue with my gear changing at the same time.Would highly recommend this friendly small business to anyone who loves their bike(s)!

Overpriced, by the sounds of the reviews they offer a great service and maintenance, however, they dont like it when you point out the disparity between what they are charging for parts and what other companies are charging for the same part. For example, Sam Hill oil slick pedals, slam69 £130, chain reaction £70. Sam Hill direct stem £60, chain reaction £40. Its not at all competitive.

This is an independent bicycle shop- run by Graham.The staff are very helpful and attentive and the prices for services are very good value. The staff take the time to help you with queries and the quality of work is very high.

First online order of some small hope spares. All in stock with the correct part numbers listed on the site. Delivery was via DPD which was conveinent for me as they give you a 1 hour time slot. £5 cheaper than the other shop I use for hope spares. Well done, will be using again.

Excellent shop and service, slam are my local bike shop and I've never been disappointed by them, in fact the opposite they consistently exceed my expectations and go the extra mile. Always seem to have the right stock of products and upgrades and if it's not in stock it's ordered in and arrives quickly. The workshop staff are experts and can do anything from servicing through to shock and suspension upgrades and repairs.Absolutely the best bike shop.
