Hartley’s Cookery School, which offers private chefs table meals, is that perfect blend of top class food in such a relaxed and friendly environment.Chef Simon has worked at some of the best restaurants in the U.K. and you can clearly see his experience and passion for quality ingredients in his incredibly tasty cooking.Alongside Claire’s wonderful hosting skills, making feel like you’re in a friends living room, it really is a special place for a lunch or dinner.

A phenomenal evening learning to make pasta with chef Simon! Lovely atmosphere and setting, Simon's style of teaching was warm and the perfect balance of hands-on and getting us stuck in! The food was AMAZING and we will definitely be trying to recreate it at home! We would definitely recommend Hartley's Cookery School classes- thank you so much Simon, we'll be back! :)

We held our Christmas Party with Hartley's Cookery School, and I cannot express how pleased we all were with the experience. None of the team had done anything similar in the past, so we were a bit nervous!However Simon was great throughout. We were back and forth on emails and calls to make a perfect plan that would be fun for the team, and Simon created the perfect personalised package.Everyone had such a great time and we cooked and ate some amazingly yummy foods.Would 100% recommend to anyone! Venue, food, planning, staff, everything was perfect. Thanks again :)

My partner and I had a fantastic afternoon learning to cook new dishes and better understanding what we need to do to make a good dish better. Simon was able to answer all my weird questions! The venue is absolutely brilliant too, big enough to have elbow room, small enough to hear each other. I would love to do another class!

Myself and my partner both had a great evening making pasta last week. Simon was both informative and friendly. We really enjoyed the experience and learnt a lot. I think it was the best pasta I'd ever tasted so we will definitely be investing in our own pasta maker to replicate Simon's recipe! Haddenham is lucky to have such a brilliant cookery school, we will be back sometime soon to learn some more new skills! Thank you! ☺️

Simon's afternoon fundamentals class was brilliant! There was a relaxed atmosphere in a lovely venue. There was just the right amount of content to feel stimulated but not overwhelmed by information! Simon's recipe's were delicious. I highly recommend the course.

Did an evening pasta making course with Simon and it was just brilliant -- he is a great teacher (and lovely to boot!) and helped us make what was easily one of the most delicious meals I've ever cooked. I had eaten a couple of his meals during the pandemic and they were the highlight of the lockdown for me; his flavours are incredible. Would love to do his chef's table one day!

My mum and I had great fun on the patisserie course run by Simon. He was informative, helpful when asked all kinds of questions and was not intimidating at all. It felt like you were at a friends house, the way he made everyone feel so welcome. Even the lunch was delicious- not that it was a surprise! A fantastic day and went home with a large apple tart and choux buns. Thank you!

Definitely recommend!Did the patisserie class today with Simon which was great.6 hours sounded like a long time but it went quickly (in a good way!).Was a friendly, relaxed, environment from start to finish and got to make (and sample) a good amount of different bits or watch Simon make bits too.Lunch included which was made by Simon and was tasty too!Came away with lots of goodies which will keep us going!
