Did a workshop with Matt recently and it was great! He was knowledgeable, knew the locations well and taught us different techniques that we could apply to our own photography after the workshop. Ended the workshop with many amazing photographs to take home!

Matt was awesome from start to finish. Matt has just got what it takes to make your pictures stand out. My husband and I felt at ease and as if there wasn’t a photographer present due to Matt making us feel calm and relaxed. Can’t recommend him enough. Thanks again! The Bruce’s.

Matt and Jody are a fantastic photography duo. We booked our suppliers during the height of the pandemic and weren’t able to meet in person until the day before our wedding. We got such a positive impression of Matt that we were confident in choosing him to photograph our big day. We were not disappointed — their work is amazing, creative, and inspired. Beyond their obvious talents behind the camera, Matt and Jody are also just a joy to be around. They helped us be calm, get time together as a couple, and were so lovely as people. They were also extremely accommodating with our schedules and requests for specific things, like helping us live stream our wedding. They are fantastic and I wish we could get married again just to work with them again! We will not hesitate to use them in the future and highly recommend them to others.

Matt and Jodie were fantastic from start to finish, their communication both before and after the wedding was second to none and their knowledge and experience made everything run smoothly. The pre-wedding shoot put us both at ease and gave us confidence for the wedding day and ensured we had the best experience possible.We also had a Highlands shoot included in our package and the day itself was amazing, Matt and Jodie knew exactly where to take us for the most stunning pictures. Enjoyed a memorable day out with Matt on a landscape workshop in The Lakes just last week. Matt is an excellent tutor and I came away full of renewed enthusiasm with much improved composition skills and more insight into my camera's possibilities then I could ever have imagined. Just started editing the results including the one of Ashness Jetty below and very happy. Worth every penny and more !

I had a fantastic photography day with Matt. He is a wonderful photographer and teacher. He gave me many great ideas on how to improve my landscape photography and add some novelty to my images. I would certainly recommend Matt’s photography day.

I had a great day out with Matt. He taught me a little about loving my own country and somehow managed to make the rain desirable! As an aspiring photographer, this day was absolutely perfect for me as it was a chance to be inspired and pick his brain for the day. He really knows what he's doing and seems to enjoy passing on his knowledge. When presented with my Birthday voucher, I was so nervous, spending a whole day with a professional landscape photographer Matt Ward in Glen Coe. I need not have worried; Matt made me feel completely at ease from the off and went through technics, tips, and tricks at my pace. Matt's knowledge of the local area and experience of key locations to capture the outstanding beauty of Glen Coe was immense. Although I will never achieve the same high standard of Visuals of Scotlands, I did come away with a whole new level of confidence, a bag full of tips, and a few images that I was pleased with. If you are thinking of attending a tour or workshop, don't hesitate to jump in with both feet, you will not be disappointed.
