Canal Trust Cafe
Having walked from Trowbridge along the Avon and Kennet Canal on one of the hottest days of the year, we were in need of refreshments. My wife had a cappuccino - extra hot, madness - and I went for a chocolate shake but they were out so I had a raspberry a white chocolate shake, which came topped with whipped cream and marshmallows. The café has a one-way in and out system: you order inside and take your tray out to your table.

Canal Trust Cafe
This is a nice place to stop for a coffee and something to eat. We had apple and cinnamon cake which was delicious. Lots of outdoor seating for sitting and watching the boat and lock activity. Friendly staff.

Only had 2 mugs of tea but they were good and we were able to sit outside and watch the canal

Unfortunately, the kitchen was finished for the day, but the scones were good. Cream good. Jam could be better!!

Lovely spot for lunch. Fast friendly service and tasty unfussy food. Watching the shenanigans on the lock provides additional entertainment!
