Having worked at Anita Massarella over a year, both Anita and the team are the most welcoming and lovely people! I have learnt so much and value there expertise within couture fashion. Whether you need a wedding gown, evening gown, or even day wear I can thoroughly recommend. I have 3 jackets designed by Anita which are timeless and classic pieces that fit perfectly into my wardrobe and can be worn both with jeans or dressed up, they always make me feel glamorous!

Feel I have to leave a review now where all the talk in the news are about, how not to fall a victim to the so-called fast fashion, which has ushered a throwaway culture into the clothing business, with items so cheap they have become single-use purchases.Anita made me a skirt suit back in 1999 of some gorgeous tweed of the highest quality made in Northern England for more than 100 years and supplied to fashion houses, like Chanel, around the world. It goes without saying the personal customer experience you receive at Anita Massarella is second to none. The exceptional skills and craftsmanship which goes into having a piece of couture garment made just for you, is something everyone should experience once in your life. You will never look at clothing the same way again.Going into its 20th year, my suit is a classic and timeless piece sitting in my wardrobe, still looking fantastic, when it comes out now and then. It is a very versatile garment whether I wear it as a suit or as separates, it always gets lots of compliments. The jacket, in particular, goes just as well with some plain trousers, skirt or with jeans as a more casual look. It is well worth the cost having an item of clothing made bespoke, which can’t be classified as fast fashion but is considered and sustainable and a multi-use purchase. I highly recommend Anita and her team to design and make one of your first non fast fashion items, which makes you feel chic and glamorous for years to come.

I had my wedding dress designed by Anita. The whole experience was truly amazing and the final result was stunning. I felt amazing on my wedding day in a couture dress designed and made just for me. I am now a complete ‘couture convert’. Since my wedding Anita has made me other one off stunning pieces for special events I have attended. Anita always manages to make me feel amazing in her couture designs. I’m always secretly waiting for a special event so I can give Anita a call and ask her to make my “dream couture design come true “ !!

I do not have enough superlatives to describe the experience of having a haute couture wedding dress designed and made by Anita Massarella and her team. I first met Anita in 2001 when I approached her to make my wedding dress. From the moment I walked into the shop and Anita took out her sketch pad and interpreted my description of the perfect dress, I knew that this was going to be a great relationship. But, the experience does not stop there. I love my array of bespoke, timeless classic jackets that Anita has designed for me over the years, which look great with jeans, evening dress or to accompany an outfit for a business meeting. I cannot recommend enough the Anita Massarella experience - every girl should enjoy allowing Anita make her feel special and bring her dreams to reality.

Anita and her team truly are incredible. I've never been one to wear dresses, (ever) but knew my wedding dress had to be one spectacular piece. After searching for the right Vendor I decided to go to Anita- after driving past her shop front for years, i was intrigued and fascinated to understand how she could help. Anita understood the brief perfectly. She knew I wanted a one-off and something a bit rock & roll. It's hard to put into words how happy i was with the finished piece. It exceeded my expectations and i honestly felt a million dollars! The professionalism of Anita and her team, their passion, their attention to detail (the list can go on) was first class. Anita designed my bespoke wedding dress for my special day. The service that Anita and the team deliver is outstanding. They are all super friendly and nothing ever feels too much. I was pregnant whilst wedding planning and my body shape was changing on a daily basis. Anita reassured me that all was going to be ok and made the time for extra fittings to ensure I had the perfect dress on the day. I felt very special in my dress and the lace detail was gorgeous. Sadly I don’t think I will need another wedding gown but I recommend Anita to all of my friends. I travelled all the way from London to visit Anita and the team for my fittings. Fantastic service and gorgeous bespoke gowns. Highly reccomended!

We recently spent some time at Anita Massarella Designs. What a wonderful place. The designs are so sophisticated and beautiful and the staff are fantastic. I would recommend anybody looking for that special outfit to visit Anita.

The best experience a bride to be could ever ask for! Anita's Haute Couture dress was made to absolute perfection and I enjoyed every moment of the process. The team were amazing and were a dream to work with. It was an incredibly special and memorable experience and I could not recommend highly enough!

Most beautiful shop to ever visit. All the clothing is excuisite. Anita is one of the most loveliest, down to earth women you could ever talk to. My christening dress is divine!
