Halifax

Went to Wolverhampton branch today. Wasted 30 minutes in long queue to reach counter. 3 desks open, but there was another one vacant, they said that couldn't be opened. Plenty of staff walking around asking if they could help, but that's no good if you need counter service. One counter assistant was good enough to inform us we were lucky, as it had been a 45 minute wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! previously. Every time time I go in there is always a queue. The branch is shutting for restoration, but an assistant said there would be no more cashier desks created. Service is abysmal.

Just called to report a card found they can't contact the owner" cut the card up

Drunk's on waiting seats at front of bank. Eventually seen by welcome staff ,told us to queue for the counter to open account.Two counter staff, took over 30 mins,to be told got to open online,the chap who told us to queue was on the next till keeping his head down. Absolute joke, 45 minutes of our life wasted.

Staff are freindly enough, but using a counter service usually first involves long long ques as people sort their entire lifes out in front of me. Also Saturday before Christmas I saw no signs online about shortened opening hours and Google showed open until 15:30, arrived at 13:30 to find it completely closed. For me the online hours should of been adjusted, as a small business owner I happen to know how easy this is to do, Halifax you have no excuse. Also couldn't find the branch telephone number to call them to double check, just number for the generic telephone banking.

I am giving a 5 star from the service i had from Harjit at the counter. There was a short queue out the front but i was promptly let into the branch, friendly service when i entered directing me to the counter. Harjit greeted me very politely and completed all my requests promptly but explaining everything as she did. Very couteous and polite. Previously dealt with other counter staff who bar one have been really helpful.

I called the call centre amidst the pandemic to ask for an appointment. This was made and confirmation sent to me. I went with my paperwork only to find the appointment was not made and I have to wait in the queue. Then she checked my paperwork and said it was all incorrect and she couldn’t complete my query. The staff are very rude and confrontational and customer service below standards.I hate going into branch where staff are standing around with a clipboard asking you out loud about your visit or query and then trying to sell you an account! It’ll be nice if you can just go in and speak to staff when you have a query rather than being pounced on! Try and avoid and stick to online banking!

Everytime I come here there is a ridiculous wait time, minimum half an hour wait (at best!) sometimes just to be told to do things online.The branch shuts at 5, meaning working people can only attend at lunch time. If as an establishment you know that, and know you have excessive wait times every single day surely you would do something about it and have more staff on the counters during peak times!

I have just attended once. First impression matters". a strong saying. I am really pleased with the attention i received from the young lady that came to assist me. I was one the queue ( a little bit long )

Ridiculous wait times. Never enough staff around for any sort of help or advice worth changing over to a different bank waste of time.

If you are in hurry do not visit this branch of Halifax. You must wait there is 2 hour before before serve . It's there normal protocol for every customer. They not even deserves 1 star
