There is very little parking and the closest parking was all full. We have to park about 15 mins walk away but it was worth it. Very intriguing English Heritage ruins

Nice place for a picnic in a sunny day, the church is small but very cosy, all the area is quite nice, go early to find a place to park, there is 2 nice pub/restaurants further down but could be even better, on the river just need to raise a bit the dam to have a bit more deep water, fill the bottom with stones to clear the water and remove that green colour. Don't worry about it will became crowded, its far from any city or town, there isn't much parking, its England so there isn't much hot days available during the year. Had a charity box on the entrance, someone will donate something. Huge potential but...

A wonderful example of how things used to be . Amazed at the depth of the walls and can easily imagine how the buildings would have worked and been worked . With a lovely waterside picnic/ swimming area to boot .

Came across Minster Lovell Hall as we were around the area at the time and it was a relaxing place to stop and have a picnic. Spotted a Frog which had come from the pond within the grounds and there were plenty of Doves to see. Children enjoyed exploring the area along the river too.

A dream site from mid-ages.With its quiet river, green prairies, trees and footpaths, it's a wonderful place to walk alone, as a couple or family (watch out kids).Near Oxford and just at the border of Cotswolds, it's a dream place. When you arrive, you just see a old fashioned chapel, but as you walk in, you'll see much more. All the basements and some walls are there, from the old house, stables and more. Ancient times are there for you to walk in and around. It's incredible that all this old building is so accessible to anyone.A great place you can miss if you get around.

Fun place for browsing and also picknicing (we only browsed). Some lack of parking spaces, as far as I could see. One can drive down to the church, but it's hard to turn around there. For people with good legs, you can park at the crossing. As a bonus, you can also go into the church, where the last two pictures are from.

A beautiful ruin that is well worth a visit. Its former glory is very easy to imagine as the remains are ample. The river Windrush running along at the base of the property just adds to the peaceful atmosphere... just green grass and the sound of water flowing. It is a perfect place to spend some time just sitting and relaxing whilst you let your imagination take you back in time. And to top it all off, it's free parking and entry!
