We visited Dr. Jiri Last October to diagnose my father disease. Under his supervision we did the bone marrow biopsy and he told us after the biopsy that my father has Hairy Cell Leukemia. He kept answering our endless questions about the disease and the treatment. I even kept sending him emails asking more questions about the case and the treatment and he used to answer right away.After the diagnosis we decided as a family to take the chemotherapy with DR. Jiri and his team. Having been under Dr. Pavlu's care for a while now I can't recommend him highly enough. He is an original thinker who takes the time to explain each part of the treatment to his patients. Dr. Pavlu diagnosed me with HCL leukaemia in Oct 2020. It was a true shock to the entire family as I had been really well and showing no symptoms. The problematic blood markers had been picked up by pure chance during a routine test. Dr. Pavlu repeated the tests and performed a bone marrow biopsy the same day. He then called me with a preliminary diagnosis after only 48 hrs. The whole process from first tests to final diagnosis and plan for treatment was incredibly fast, extremely professional and ever so compassionate and kind. Every question was answered and Dr. Pavlu was constantly available by email and phone. His reassuring and confident manner was key to me as I was a very anxious patient, in need of as much information as possible. No question was too small or too much for Dr. Pavlu and I felt in completely safe hands from the very first conversation over the phone. I'm still not completely over my condition but I hope I'll be soon, and I'll be forever grateful to Dr. Pavlu for giving me the courage to fight this! THANK YOU!
