I got an appointment within 3 hours of contacting via the website which was impressive but also indicative of a company desperate for business. When the lady arrived she went through everything in detail which I appreciate she may feel obliged to do but I was very quickly bored with this. All I wanted, as I said from the moment she entered my house was a like for like replacement yet she still spoke about other options. That bit can be ignored in the great scheme of things as she was just trying to do her job. The most laughable bit, and the reason I won't be placing an order was how the price could miraculously be reduced by over £2000 after I mentioned a price I had received from a local company. This then led to the usual rubbish about they can't compete with a local company but (following a well rehearsed phone call to the office)could get to their price if I placed an order immediately. I had already said I wasn't going to place an order until I had thought it through. Many years ago I briefly worked for a double glazing company as a sales rep so am familiar with all the lies that customers get told. I just can't believe the same tricks are still used to strongarm customers into placing an order nearly 30 years later. One of Safestyle's marketing points is they claim to beat any written quotation yet they can't do this first go. If I had accepted the initial price, I would quite rightly feel ripped off. Don't use them, go to a reputable local installer instead who will quote you a reasonable price without you paying for the sales rep's commission.

Horrendous!Started off well, the Brighton office sent someone the same day I enquired. Katy arrives gives me all the usual 80’s double glazing spiel and we go through various pricing options until we’re half the initial price with all the discounts and the special “manager on the phone” discount BUT I had to take the deal there and then and pay £100 deposit. It seemed a good deal and I was guaranteed an install in four weeks - maybe even sooner!A week later the surveyor arrived and measured up, noted that Katy hadn’t put that I wanted a grey front door with white interior and white trim. He updates the order to reflect this. No extra charge. Nothing else is mentioned.Two weeks pass (I am now a week from my instal date) and get a call saying - oopsie Katy mismeasured the window and noted it down as single and not a bay window - three panes of glass. The price has now jumped up by £650! But because they’re so sorry, they’ll pay £300 but I need to pay £350. Oh and there’s no such thing as a “guaranteed install date” and I shouldn’t have been promised that.I’m absolutely fuming as I’ve turned down other companies offers - due to covid many companies have significant backlogs- up to 12 weeks in many cases, but not Safe Style! They have their own factory and can install in four weeks, maybe sooner (alarm bells should have rung here that she was just trying to get the sale!)Anyways, we are now 12 days since being informed, nobody has rung me back after I escalated the complaint. Katy did however ring me with a wishy washy apology “I was new!” and then blocked my phone number!!!I’ve just spoken to head office who have informed me no they can’t get a manager to call me to discuss the situation, no they can’t fit them next week and basically they’re perfectly happy for me to cancel my order.ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! No professionalism and total COWBOYS!When I met Katy and heard the dreadful sales spiel I immediately thought of the series White Gold, and even told her so.Don’t use them, don’t bother, read the bad reviews on here - I wish I hadn’t bothered!Safestyle if you care order no is 1402808

Had 14 windows and 2 Doors fitted 5 off them fire escape windows, and they don't meet building regulation, some of the don't open and close properly had one of their engineers out and he said they are all fitted and sealed incorrectly but safestyle will not come out to put there work right

Walked off job - as no driveway for house!Refused to use parking bay (pictured) as they can't watch their van 100% of the time. How they can fit windows on two sides on a house and watch their van is yet to be seen!I would never recommend this company after the experience I have had. I have lost two days of work to get my windows fitted.
