Called the pharmacy, was told I have to bring back my medication from the previous prescription to get the medication for the new prescription. Went to the pharmacy and was basically told that I was lying about when I last picked up my medication because they put the incorrect dates on the boxes. After pleading for them to call the woman who regularly hands me my medication, they said that they verified the pick up, but they did not have a new prescription for me, even though my GP AND one of THEIR OWN workers, told me that they had picked up the prescriptions and they were at the pharmacy. Waited 30 mins to be told that they were making up the prescriptions finally. No apology or anything for implying that I was lying and then misplacing my prescription.Unfortunately this is not my only grievance. They regularly lie about going to my GP. Confirmed when I was told my them that my GP said there was no prescription under my name and then calling my GP and being told that it had been ready for days and no one ever picked it up.Absolutely an AWFUL pharmacy that makes the already difficult situation of getting and filling a prescription from an NHS GP even more horrendous.

I have a chronic condition, so I am ordering medication constantly and am in multiple times a month. I have been with this pharmacy for about 6 years. I went through a phase where there were lots of issues with my prescriptions, and I automatically just thought it was the pharmacies fault. I know now that it seems more likely to have been my GP practice. But even with that the staff at the pharmacy were nothing but polite and tried to help me when they thought I was mad with them. Things have changed a lot since then and I love the care I receive from them. My medication has been changing a lot recently and they have been nothing but accommodating with helping me and understanding that the order dates might not add up. Lovely staff in there and very helpful.Long story short, if there are issues don’t automatically assume it’s the pharmacy at fault when they are actually trying very hard!

Two young women were really helpful in making up my prescription. All 3 of the staff who were working treated all the customers who came through the door with such patience and kindness!

Really friendly and helpful pharmacist who helped me access some lung medication when no other pharmacies could. They spent time going through options and were really reassuring. Thanks so much!

I had the misfortune to have broken the needle of my medication. I was on a course away from home and they were able to help. Turning my problem upside down. Thank you all for your help.

My partner needed advice about how to treat a recovering ingrowing toenail whilst we were on holiday. I deliberately chose Abbey due to their reviews here on Google which indicated that they gave good customer service, and we were in no way disappointed. Rather than try to quickly sell us something that might do the trick one of the team took time out to investigate the state of the toe and to offer excellent detailed advice. We cannot praise this pharmacy enough and we highly recommend others to use its excellent service in future. Why settle for anything less than excellence when it is right her in the heart of the city.

What a amazing chemist I've ever been to. And staff... Go extra mile .. like I had court they opened especially for me as I'm clean and staff help me us when we help our self's .. I don't give reviews but Ellie Andrew . Rosie.. Fax .... If it was a hotel it would be 5 star ... ...

The older gentleman I spoke to initially was very pleasant and helpful, thank you for your professionalism. I had to briefly leave and come back 15 min later though. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the younger dispenser I spoke to upon returning. She was entirely unwilling to help a patient if that meant doing the slightest over the bare minimum that's required of her.

Not a helpful place whatsoever. Staff are incompetent and dont care.they are always right. Do not listen to the customers. My wife and myself were left standing as the young staff didnt know what they were talking about.and a member of the public came in to speak to them about a complaint. And they spoke over him did not care whatsoever. Totally shocking. Stay clear of this so called chemist. We will never use tgem again. NEVER
