I think this is an excellent venue and location for couples to get married the scenery and the open space is beautiful.. the venue itself is very spacious, all the staff are very friendly. I always enjoy Djiing and contributing to the newlyweds special day especially at a venue so welcoming.

HIDDEN GEM!!I have been living in this area for over 10yrs and can't believe I've only just found this course.Everything about it was spectacular, staff, tee's, fairways and greens.Play was the perfect pace.I will definitely be going back there.Do yourselves a favour and check this one out.

Decent parkland course that always seems to beat me up. unique holes that you have to think about. Accuracy required over distance on most holes. Course is fairly well kept, but the bunkers were awful. There was a lot of rain this week, so bunkers were horrendously compacted. But how hard is it to have someone rake the bunkers? (that goes for all golf courses in the £30-45 range)Unfortunately, Park wood, lacks soul. Seems to always be quiet and the club house is always empty. This can be handy if you are struggling to find a T time elsewhere, as there is always lots of availability. However, I do think there are better options in the area for similar price.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my (traditional engagement ceremony) st Park Wood and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The front of house team, along with Racheal, were absolutely amazing and played a crucial role in ensuring that our event ran smoothly.From the initial planning stages to the Butexecution of the event, they were always available and ready to assist. Their professionalism and expertise were evident in every interaction, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.One of the standout features of the venue is the hall itself. It is incredibly spacious, airy, and boasts a modern design that impressed all our guests. The panoramic views of the golf course added an extra touch of elegance to the whole experience.I would highly recommend Park Wood to anyone looking to host an event. The front of house team and Racheal were exceptional in their support and made sure that everything ran seamlessly. I have already shared my positive experience with friends and family, and I would not hesitate to use them for any future events.Thank you once again to the entire team at Orida Park wood for making our event a memorable one!

We had our wedding party last Saturday, we were thoroughly looked after by Rachael for all the booking and planning, then the staff on the day were absolutely fantastic. So accommodating, the food was stunning, room was amazing and it was just perfect, the sun shone and we spent most of the evening out on the patio with friends and family basking in the sunshine, eating and celebrating. Would highly recommend

Played in a club away day, Park Wood charged us £38 a head, greens were the worst i've putted on in years - huge hollow tines in peak summer season with hardly any sand, that sort of work should be done in the winter months, a huge pile of tines were dumped in the greenside bunkers with no GUR markings, cut down trees were just left in the tree line all over the course. No warning whatsoever from the staff/management before we teed off. To top it off the round was close to 5 1/2 hours with four groups waiting on one tee at one stage.

I have played here twice, each time the weather was completely different. First time misty and raining, more recently in great weather. What a contrast in my thoughts about the course.Each hole is different, also great views, and many choices about how to play. Best plot your way, and watch for long run outs.Course was well presented a d greens doing well for time of year.Can be had going in winter.Definitely worth a try.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course, given that I played on a clear day after an incredible amount of rain it held up well. Course looks great and well kept. I can't wait to play here again

Enjoyed the layout, which has quite a few tight driving holes.Fairways are in good condition, and are hard and fast. Unfortunately, the greens are also very firm snd it is difficult to stop a ball on the greens. Bunkets need sime work.Par 3s are quite long, especially from the back teesA course that caters to all handicaps and abilities. Well worth the trip, and should be very playable in winter.
