Someone who says ‘are you ok’ when I just lost may dad …. Outstanding customer service. And then to bring napkins when upset is exceptional… Jack then embraced me and made me feel so comfortable. Star employee x

Lovely local pub, a place we can basically call our 2nd home (spend a lot of time here) as we’re welcomed on each and every visit by staff, friends and locals in the pub we now call friends. Food is spot on, burgers and chips for our son and Katsu curry is heaven. Feel so comfortable here, never any bad atmosphere or experiences, happy pub to go to and will continue to visit. Thanks to all the Black Bull team - you’ve been amazing x

Lunch with a friend . Fab food, cooked well & came hot. Staff very nice helpfull and cheerful esp Natalie she was lovly . Car park big;WC very clean as was the whole place and it was lovly having low music in the background not blasting out . We could enjoy a quiet chat.

Went here for our Christmas meal, 7.99 for three courses. Absolute bargain very tasty and they also had a singer and raffle. We are going to book for next year as well. Great goor great service and cracking staff.

Went to the Black Bull in Benton for Sunday lunch, never again. The food was just warm and we all had the beef, I kid you not it was about two inches by one inch in size, filled the plate with peas and carrots to make it look more. I used to like this pub but never again, even when we complained they said that is what they always serve up, yeah right, disgusting.

My wife and I visited today and quickly became certain we'd return in the future.There's plenty of parking available and the beer garden has loads of seating.The staff were kind and approachable, the inside is well lit with plenty of room. Clean and tidy throughout.The food was absolutely delicious (thank you Clair!) and cooked to perfection; the garlic bread was slightly crispy as it should be, the chicken burger sliders had the tastiest bbq glaze I've had in years, the fish was tasty with beautiful crispy batter and wasn't greasy like it can be at other local pubs nearby, the portion size for the chips was decent, the chicken katsu curry my wife had was so good I know I'll be ordering that next time we're here.The toilets were well kept and clean.The pool table is in good condition which is always a bonus!I really cannot fault our visit here today. Highly recommended to anyone local or visiting the area, thank you to all the staff!
