Shiv Sagar Veg Restaurant
Popped in for a light bite. Had the mixed veg platter, and dahi vada, and milkshake. The mixed platter was nice. Great way to try a few different tasty morsels. Lovely intense chutneys to accompany. The dahi vada was good, but would probably order a different dish next time as there's a lot to choose from, and that dish was a bit tame.

Very nice place for a decent veg Indian meal .The pav bhaji is the best in the uk , and outside of India , we also had the dosa which is decent and we had the vada pav which also was authentic Indian taste not like others with raw bun and tasteless this was tasting nearest to India I would recommend the pav bhaji any day and vada pav great prices and taste .

Firstly, the food was not bad but the chutney was watery and the presentation was great although the customer service can be said of differently. We were asked if we would leave when the children were still finishing to eat just because the adults had finished. We were hoping to get dessert but then we were told we need to go in a rude manner before asking for dessert. They then asked if we wanted dessert and we were not in the mood to. As we were paying, one of the staff let us explain what had happened because the staff who asked us had talked to her beforehand to keep us from making a scene whilst the rest of the staff were giving us dirty looks and laughing. The food was nice but does not compare to traditional authentic Indian food. Kids have their own pace of eating and shouldn't be pressured to finish. The one star was for the food with the rest knocked off because of the absolute atrocious customer service. If you have children, beware that you may be asked to leave when you are not ready. I also hope the restaurant sees this and MAKES A CHANGE.

Great taste for Indian street food. Loved every dish I tried here. Staff is really good as well. It is my favourite restaurant in Leicester now because of consistency in taste. Normally very busy place but worth waiting.

Shiv Sagar Veg Restaurant
The food prices were really fair. Good portion of food. If you want a homely feel of india, definitely recommend this place. Quite delicious and tasty as well. Only thing is they have limited amount of tables so i recommend booking in advance or you might have to wait for like 15-20 minutes. Good customer service.
