Ollie is an excellent guitar teacher. His communication surrounding the lessons is always good and my son is enjoying his guitar lessons every week. Ollie's approach is friendly and professional - his lessons are varied and contemporary which appeals to my son. He is making great progress with Ollie's teaching,!

Ollie is a professional, experienced and well qualified teacher. He organises his lessons to ensure I feel challenged and make good progress. Ollie adapts his lessons to meet my own style and preferences and teaches in an engaging and enthusiastic manner. He is a kind and friendly person and I always feel welcome and inspired.

My 9 year old son has been having guitar lessons with Ollie since November 2020. In just a few months he has gone from no guitar or music skills at all to being able to play a good few tunes and songs and is really quite pleased with himself. He always enjoys the lessons with Ollie - who must have the patience of a saint! We've been doing online lessons which I wasn't sure would work too well initially but looking where we've got to, it clearly does. Ollie really is a very knowledgeable and skilled music tutor - really pleased that we found him.

Ollie is teaching my 9year old son for nearly 5months. He started as a beginner. Its great to see how he improves day by day with Ollie 's guidance . Ollie has been a great teacher with his well organized and professional way of teaching .

Ollie has been teaching our 7 year old son electric guitar for a few weeks now. He is extremely friendly and professional, not to mention very patient. Our son has already learned lots and we have been really pleased with his progress since starting lessons.

Ollie has been teaching my son Owen, since just before the first Lockdown. Lessons are well planned, thought out, and perfectly tailored to Owen and his way of learning, enabling him to learn things that keep him interested as well as increase his technical skills and knowledge that improve his ability and performance.During the first 'lockdown', lessons were able to move to online (Skype). I admit I was worried my son would lose focus (forever wandering off and getting distracted), however Ollie was able to keep him engaged so he never lost momentum with what he was doing, nor his technical ability. Lesson's are a perfect mix of what Owen wants to do and where he eventually wants to end up, with the right technical exercises needed to achieve that. They balance Owen's self-expression with 'firm but fair' teaching; expectations are always clearly set and adhered to, ensuring he knows his lessons are for learning and not for messing about. Online lessons were so successful that Owen recently achieved his very first exam, Grade 3 guitar, with distinction.Ollie is an absolutely fantastic teacher; he has a great personality, is highly professional, incredibly dependable and has excellent open communication both with myself and Owen. I always know what's going on and what Owen should be doing with regards to practice in-between lessons (very useful to know!).Seeing how far Owen has come since Ollie has been teaching him, is absolutely amazing and they really are a great pairing. Owen has recently started to learn classical guitar as well as electric, and again, the lessons Ollie puts together are perfectly geared towards his interests, making it a perfect mix of fun, skill and focus.The teacher you choose for your child makes such a difference, not just to their musical progress, but to their self-confidence and ability to push themselves out of their comfort zone. Ollie has been an absolute blessing, and the best teacher I could have possibly chosen for Owen. I'm really glad I found him and look forward to seeing what else they achieve together.

My son started guitar lessons at the end of August - he has made great progress and really looks forward to his weekly lesson (and also now practicing). Ollie is a great teacher and my son is continuing to develop a love of music as a result. Professional, reliable and I would recommend to anyone looking for music tuition.Mark B
