Such a fantastic experience. Lived in Leigh for over 13 years but experienced some fantastic new sights and learned some really interesting facts on our trip! My son was lucky enough to steer the boat and learn about navigation etc. we can’t wait to come back for another trip! Angus is full of local knowledge and makes the trip really fun and informative!

Awesome trip on the Daisy Margaret with Angus. We toured round Leigh on Sea area and up Hadleigh Ray which was amazing. Angus was extremely helpful and provided great communication during the booking process and on the day and made the trip perfect. Can highly recommend.

Organised a trip with Angus and Brownes Thames Estuary Boat Trips to Maunsell Red Sand Forts along with my paddleboard company Saltwater SUP.Angus and Paul were super professional, courteous and helpful throughout the trip.Great communication and organisation went into the trip. We were all in safe hands which meant we could focus on ensuring our customers had a good timeCracking operation and I have no hesitation in recommended this personal, bespoke boat trip. So much better than the “masses” trips that are on offer

Today we went out with Angus and Henry on the Starfish to photograph the Red Sands Fort. Despite a very high tide we had a very smooth ride out and got some amazing shots and added bonus, some cake from a neighbouring boat! Angus and Henry made us feel so welcome aboard the Starfish and made sure we were aware of our surroundings and provided some info/history in respect of where we were, what we could see, ships passing by etc. We even managed to stop at the SS Montgomery on the way back but due to the very high tide we weren't able to see much. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable day and would highly recommend Brownes Thames Estuary Boat Trips. I will certainly be more than happy to charter Angus again for future trips. Still buzzing 5 hours later, thank you so much. Chris & Co

Had a fantastic day out with Angus and crew on our trip up the Thames to London. Were made to feel really welcome onboard Starfish, enjoyed the great local knowledge and loved the addition of food from Sara's Tea Garden

Amazing day, loved every minute of it, the boat was great and Angus was a fantastic captain and host. Very safe (it was a foggy and very atmospheric day out in the estuary) but lots of fun. What a great way to celebrate my birthday. A very well deserved 5 stars ! Wouldn’t hesitate to do it again! David

What a wonderful afternoon we had on our trip from Leigh to the Red Towers. The weather wasn't good, but the welcome was very warm. The boat is very well equipped with state of the art navigation and safety equipment. Angus spent a lot of time explaining how the radar works and the shipping lanes. Was really interesting. We saw many Essex landmarks and a few seals too.We are looking forward to taking another trip in June.Thankyou boys.Jane and John
