Cera Care East Lothian

Got off to a bumpy start when I first came home from hospital with numerous carers and visit times. Then after a fall, due to no carer being available for a tea visit, Carol Rutherford and Lynsey Melrose came out for a meeting with myself. We were able to tailor my POC to my specific needs, this included a team of 6 carers, an early morning start of 6am agreed with all involved and 4 hourly visits for medication. They were also able to get me an extra visit at night if I require it, due to fatigue caused by my condition, which I am extremely grateful for. I have a fantastic main carer that I would be lost without, but unfortunately she has to have days off, and I feel that some of the other carers don't really want to be here and they just want to get home. This can make me feel bad as i feel that I'm keeping them back.
