Came across here by chance and what a fun pub.Was not expecting to see the drag queen hosting karaoke on a Thursday and she was great.LGBTQ+ friendly - but not a gay bar. Good sports screens and a nice beer garden, perfect to watch the football, have a social beer or… Drag queen karaoke

Had a lovely meal here with a few of my friends, the staff were very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. Stayed after for a few drinks after, Leon helped us with any questions we had and made the evening very enjoyable. Overall great experience will be back.

Lovely cosy pub in the winter, closely located to Rotherhithe Station and the Brunel Museum. Not a locals-only kind of place, we felt welcome for a quiet drink. Barman could have been friendlier and loos were ice cold, hence 4 stars not 5.

It used to be horrible. Changed ownership - got better. Changed again - got even nicer. Feels a bit gay-ish but very straight friendly. The garden is great. Dog friendly. Karaoke with a drag queen was fab. Hope they will offer some food one day

Take a left out of Rotherhithe overground and a short walk will bring you to a corner pub The Brunel. It's a cracking local and well worth a visit. The Guinness was decent, the barman was on the ball and managed to keep everyone served, the playlist was brilliant and there is a great mix of people in there.

Best local gem discovered so far! Lovely decor with a great selection of cocktails and the perfect garden for the summer. Staff is very friendly too, will definitely try to come back as often as possible.

A busy pub late on a very cold Saturday afternoon with screens showing sports. Reasonable selection of (expensive compared with other bars in the area) beers. Had a pint of Neck Oil and it was good, well kept and served in a branded glass. People behind the bar were efficient and friendly. Obviously a locals pub with people watching the sports, reading a book or just chatting while having a beer or cocktail. The Christmas decorations were already up (midway through November, but they looked good and a retro 70s/80s soundtrack added to the atmosphere. I suspect this would be a fairly lively place in the evening as DJ sets were advertised. Toilets ok, everything worked and was clean. Will definitely return if we're in the area.

Brilliant little gem of a pub with a fabulous garden. Good selection of beers and cocktails. Child friendly during the day and great entertainment nights often. Will definitely recommend to anyone in the area. All are welcome even your dog.

A gem of a pub in Rotherhithe. I hope Isambard was indeed a regular! A very comfy place for a beer. Screens showing sport, a lovely garden, complete with a selection of beach huts. Screen in the garden too! Great place for a beer
