Sew & Tell

The intro to sewing course was extremely useful for me as a beginner to learn how my machine works, how to set it up and learn some basic stitches.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in learning to sew as Rebecca is a great teacher!I also took the alterations session which I would recommend too.

I have attend lessons on more than one occasion to make some dresses and a coat, not only for myself but my daughters.All the lessons with Sew & Tell are well organised and value for money as you get not only one to one assistance but group conversations with the other participants.The venue is light and airey with good parking in an accessible place.I would highly recommend classes to any person who would like to learn to sew from beginners to advanced level.

I had my sewing machine since Christmas (6 months ago), so decided that it was time I got started! I did the introduction to sewing machine course, Rebecca came over to my house and taught me on my own machine. She was so helpful, she explained everything thoroughly, made sure everything made sense, was incredibly encouraging and gave me plenty of time to practise each step. She also gave me great advice on which products to use (thread, needles etc.)I feel really confident now to start my first project - I would recommend Rebecca and this course for anyone wanting to learn about their sewing machine.Thank you, so much!

I had 1-2-1 tuition with Rebecca to learn how to use my Brother sewing machine. The 2 hour lesson was interactive and Rebecca engaging and patient.There was so much I didn't know! Thank you Rebecca for your expertise, I now feel confident with using my machine and can't wait to get sewing!

Had a fantastic time with Rebecca yesterday she showed us so many ways of improving our sewing from winding bobbins to making a perfect dart. I highly recommend her always there to lend a helping hand.
