A small parking area, (all too small for a bank holiday Monday) where I found the last spot. A few less fortunate cars were parked outside the entrance making maneuvering a difficulty. A quick access to the estuary side and close up of a farmers ploughed field. Great view of the fishing boat fleet at low tide.

No convenient parking apart from small free car park which is several hundred yards from the moorings and beach.

If you love hidden away places, off the beaten track, Lower Holbrook will reward its discovery. It's not an easy place to locate & will probably initially be found quite by chance, when taking a tangent while hiking or cycling. A perfect place for hiking, birdwatching, dog walking, & photo opportunities. The car park is certainly cramped, but then it receives so few visitors because it remains such an isolated secret! The walks around the riverbank & local paths are varied, relaxing & ever tranquil. My only sighting of a Water Vole was in one of the sheltered streamlets near here...

What a beautiful hidden gem!The car park is small only fits a handful of cars but parking available on the main access.This secret hideaway is a peaceful and calming walk for you and your furry friend. You can go one of a couple of ways to venture all around the creek and through the fields.Highly recommend and this is fast becoming one of my favourite spots.Until my next adventure!
