Lyte Ladders and Towers Limited

I m a window cleaner so use them regularly...I ve had 3 sets of lyte ladders and after about a year the bottom rung always snaps ..so I strengthened the bottom rung with steel rods through it..but now the second rung up has snapped..The ladders are very light but like I said with a rung weakness.

Bought a set a few weeks ago from selco. The top rubber keeps falling off only used it twice . No rivet in it been back to selco twice they offered to replace the ladders for a set I didn't want . I just want a rivet put in selco spent 30 mins on the phone to them the plan was to drive over to lyte and get it riveted no joy two wasted journeys from neath and a few hours out of my day pathetic service .

Rubbish company.sent ladder with black rubber stabilisers when other rubbers are yellow and then rude over the phone dont want to speak to you.they say go back where you bought it from and those people were even more rude.even though lyte is the manufacturer they just want to sell and not hear back about there own product.lady on the phone from lyte said its been couple of years since using these colour but lyte and they resellers haven't update those colours of stabilisers on there website because they know sales will go down with that and its not as if they dont have the money to that they trap customers into the image.very unprofessional company.

I purchased Lyte EN131-2 Professional Platform Swingback 12- Steps.It is rock solid, sturdy and very well made. I can safely ascend to step 10 with confidence. Steps 11&12 are a little short but then no one should climb to the very top of any ladder.The ONLY reason it has not got 5* is because of the rubber feet which are rubbish quality.

DO NOT BUY A LYTE FRUIT PICKING TRIPOD LADDERI got one of these and it failed on me after only 2 months (and approximately 10 uses). The rivets at the top of the ladder failed causing it to collapse and luckily only caused bruising. It could easily have led to a serious, life altering, injury. Lyte Ladders and Ladder sales direct, who I purchased it from, have been unhelpful, and dismissive. They have taken no responsibility and are claiming it was misused. I would give it no stars if I could!

I purchased a Lyte Triple Extension ladder from Toolstation. The ladder is faulty and is unfit for use. I have contacted Toolstation numerous times within the 30 day return period they offer with zero response. I have finally received a response on the 3rd July and they say they have contacted Lyte to deal with the refund / exchange.We are now on the 5th July I am still without notification from Toolstation or Lyte to update me on the status of this return. I am without a ladder at an important client and so unable to complete the job.I will update the review asap when I hear more.

I ordered a ladder frm Screwfix, they took my money gave me an order summery and I expected a delivery. I accept that the delivery time my have been slightly longer than stated. Lyte ladders just decided that they would not deliver to my address and cancelled the order. No contact other than they assumed that OBAN was offshore !!! This is exactly what the Scottish Government is looking into, i.e. people being penalised for where they live by firms that claim to offer free delivery to the UK mainland, but then renaging on that.

Arrived damaged, scratched and filthy. Lyte service was terrible. Didn’t listen on calls or read emails properly. My advice is don’t order anything from Screwfix, if it needs to be delivered directly from the manufacturer, as is the case with Lyte ladders. If there’s a problem, you get fobbed off by both parties and stuck in the middle.

Steve in Sales was very helpful, I have bought Lyte ladders through other resellers and they are good quality long lasting ladders. Needed replacement feet, Lyte only sell to re-sellers but Steve went out of his way to find out who they sell to who can get me what I need. 5 stars for goo customer service.

I purchased an extension ladder and discovered that it was damaged after reporting this to the company a replacement ladder was arranged to be delivered however after 3 missed delivery were the couriers did not turn up this is now day 4 and i still have not received the replacement ladder. This has now cost me 3 days of lost earnings. Iwould suggest that you be very careful when you think about buying from this company.
