Fantastic valueTbh you go in at lunchtime for the all you can eat buffet at £6.99 and half expect it to be a bit ropey at that price. It's fantastic. Dishes hot and regularly changed and refilled. No frills such as tablecloths but well worth a visit. Half expected dodgy stomach after but could not have been more wrong. Huge dining area probably a hundred tables but still had a short wait as so popular. Daughter revisited 2 weeks later as so good.

Been here pots of times with various people for birthdays and just because we can. Yesterday it was an old year thanksgiving service. we had different dietary needs and they were all met. It seems to have grown since the last visit and price has gone up but it still have warm friendly staff, varied menu, clean toilets.

Range of oriental cuisines available, lager and deserts. Worth the price

Cheap and quick for when you're hungry. A wide range of food available in the buffet. There's no air conditioning, so it was very hot especially with all the ban maries keeping the food heated. The place is very basic, no decoration. Staff were okay, they don't grab your plate the moment you have your last mouthful like some other places.Food was okay... Just standard. The fish fillets had a jelly-like texture - obviously they just use whatever is cheap. My stomach didn't feel very well a couple of hours after eating there. The food hygiene rating for this place isn't particularly high. Probably unlikely to return.

I like the face lift that's been done on the interior.Food is always nice and priced reasonable too.Went for a Birthday celebration and the staff brought out a little cake (made from the deserts on offer) and sang Happy Birthday.. Very nice touch.Definitely be back soon.

The piped over music is very annoying and continuous so no peace and quiet to talk and the lighting could be improved as it's a bit dark in there. The food as always is superb, with plenty of choice including salad and a fantastic dessert section, including the awesome chocolate fountain and ice-cream, the service, prices, and drinks are great too but the decor is awful the ceiling needs sorting out and the toilets need cleaning more often and better lighting too. Honestly I go only for the lovely food, and service because I don't like the noise inside.

Food was cold and undercooked, really quiet so wait staff were constantly watching us. Would not visit this place again.

I have been to Big Wok many times, we usually go there as a family for birthdays. However, they've recently revamped the building and therefore there are more seats for customers and less space for the buffet food (meaning there is no longer a variety as wide as before). I don't really know why they have done this as there is an upper floor full of seats just in case it gets full downstairs, so I don't understand why they have done this. However, the selection they have now is still decent and the desserts they have on offer are really tasty. I recommend it as a place to go with either family or friends on a night out
