Sett Valley Trail car park
It has toilets and you can pay card or cash. More spaces than you would think. Not that easy to find going on satnav. Good access to surrounding walks.

Great car park, good location with toilets, but prices increased recently quite a bit. Can get busy on the weekends.

Better than most National park car parks. Payment Machine works and accepts contactless payment and had good toilets.

The sett valley trail is a pleasant easy walk, we walk from new mills along the trail and have our sandwiches at the car park picnic benches. From there you can walk up to kinder and beyond. There is also a bus terminus with buses back to stockport and other destinations.

Expensive (£7 all day) but worth it for a days hiking in the peaks. Toilets on site and a little can selling food and drinks.
