Amazing pub! What a find!! Friendly staff, warming atmosphere and lovely food! Will be coming back. Need more time to be able to see all of the things on the walls!

I had an excellent meal at the Glasshouse: scallops with samphire followed by fillet steak. They had a really good selection of fish specials as well. The service was good and the pub is a lovely traditional country Inn.It's developing a really good local reputation under its new management. Based on this meal, it is well deserved.

We stopped by en route to the Forest of Dean for the weekend and were wowed by every course. Brilliant flavour with every mouthful, great quality ingredients, all served with personality and flair.Steak was first-class, the gammon too. Spicy Chorizo appetiser is one of the best! All rounded off with great Banofee.Well worth the trip up the hill to such an idyllic pub and location. A candlelit table provided the perfect setting.

Absolute gem of a traditional pub serving the most delicious quality food in a beautiful quiet hamlet. Fantastic menu choice, including a good choice of fish and sea food. Lovely outdoor space and garden but we sat in the conservatory which has been very sympathetically added to the original inn. The atmosphere is very cosy and friendly, no music which makes a nice change. Little cosy nooks, original feature, beams, fascinating artefacts and period pieces.

We didn't stay here so can't comment on the rooms. We went for a drink and loved the atmosphere so we booked a table for the following evening.Although we were in the conservatory it was toasty warm and cosy without being on top of the next door table! The staff looked after us very well and were attentive and helpful. The extensive menu and specials board allowed us to feast on fish! The bouillabaisse was a wow meal and the duck in black cherry sauce was so tasty. We had two glasses of merlot and the cost was £80 for an excellent meal - well cooked and presented.

Went for lunch, ordered 2 gammon, 1 mussels (starter) and 2 bowls of chips between 4 people for the same table, ordered at the same time. The gammon came out, looked beautiful. After waiting over an hour we asked what happened to the two bowls of chips and mussels and were told they'd 'been pushed back behind other mains' after an hour and a half we ended up having a refund as had run out of time and needed to leave hungry. Very disappointing.

Absolutely first class Sunday lunch. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, food superb, setting perfect and no music! Could not have been better, we had a wonderful time.

Very nice quiet pub/restaurant. Food is amazing with very welcoming owners. Would recommend the scallops in garlic sauce as a starter.

Lovely genuine old style pub with lots of character. We sat by the open fire and enjoyed a lovely lunch. Great cider on tap.
