Tim's personal and approachable style made a sad time a little easier by having the confidence that all was well organised. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and Tim was able to accomodate all requests promptly and in good humour. It's not a service that anyone relishes needing but I would strongly recommend Tim and his team to anyone in this unfortunate position.

If anyone is in the unfortunate position of having to look for a Funeral Directors, I can highly recommend Tim Matthews Independent Family Funeral Home.The thought, care and compassion that Tim and his staff gave to myself and my family were outstanding. Being stuck in Australia and not being able to get home for my mothers funeral was a heartbreak. However Tim was always there to ensure I was happy with all the arrangements, even when I changed songs and readings, nothing was too much of a problem and was always at the end of the phone.Thank you Tim and your staff for making a difficult time so much easier than I could have ever imagined.

I can not thank Tim enough for his kindness and thoughtfulness in helping to replace a flower vase on my friends grave. We live out of the area and only visiting for a day when we realised that it had been stolen. I found his details in online in order to get information about any local suppliers. So not only did he text me all the details, he then got in contact to say he had a spare one and replaced it for us once we had had to return home. I don’t live in the area, but if this act of kindness and customer care is anything to go by, I would not hesitate to use his company again.

It takes a very special kind of person to be able to spend their time dealing with families in grief, and Tim is exactly that. His kindness and compassion is unparalleled, guiding us through the process every step of the way. Truely grateful for everything he did for us.

I came to him with quite a confusing and difficult situation, and he solved everything! My Mum was sent off surrounded by loved ones, the day was calm and respectful. Tim even said a few words/poems towards the end which were lovely to hear. Even after the funeral, I had difficulities and Tim still stuck around!Absolutely amazing!Tim - you are a star!!!

Absolutely perfect send off for my dad. From the word go, Tim took the pressure off my mum and us daughters. Everything went smoothly on the day and everything we asked for was present. We have all said that it's the type of attention that we want and will be going back for Tim to send us off, but not too soon! Thank you Tim.

From my very first phone call through to the collection of ashes, nothing has been too much trouble for Tim. He has always been incredibly sympathetic to our needs and totally professional in guiding us through what has been a sad time for our family.Despite the restrictions placed on us all by COVID, Tim and his team have provided us with the love and support we needed.
