YHA Streatley-on-Thames
Unfortunately when running late for an early key pickup I had arranged with YHA Streatley, I knew I would not be available 5-10 pm during their normal check in. I feel no help or flexibility was offered and so I was charged for a room I couldn't stay in and had to find alternative accommodation for 4 people at the last minute. Not impressed.

Incredibly good value place to stay, whether walking or even staying overnight before an early flight from Heathrow. The beds are comfy and the atmosphere welcoming. Nick is a warm and friendly host. Definitely recommend it!

Nicely located next to a hiking route, near to a beautiful river n with many choices for food. Friendly staff. While hostel is opened for check in only from 3pm, lounge and kitchen were opened for us to rest n use. Driveway is a bit steep so drive up n park with care.

Great example of what a YHA hostel should be. Good value, friendly staff and great shared facilities; showers, toilets, kitchen & lounge.Check in at 5pm and check out at 10am may not suit everyone but you should be aware of that before you book.

We had a great stay here. The staff were super welcoming, the rooms clean and comfortable and as described (basic with bunk beds) and good value. The location was perfect for walking into Streatley and Goring and is located on a multitude of well marked footpaths and near to a choice of pubs. They aren't joking when they say their car park is steep!

Was a business trip in a hired out youth hostel. So you get what you pay for. Nothing amazing, but it was clean, tidy, had a lounge, kitchen and dining area. A good option if that's all that your budget allows for. No complaints.
