I’ve had a few dealings with Carpetright over the last few years and have always been impressed by the customer service and this time had the pleasure of meeting the store manager who went above and beyond when I had to buy a lot of carpet to do out a flat. AGreat team here working well together putting the customer first.Many thanksAnd see you again in the future!!

My husband and I were looking to carpet our lounge. We visited Salisbury carpetright and browsed the store for a suitable carpet. Sarah helped us with all the information we needed and was extremely helpful and friendly. We purchased the carpet and left the store very happy with the whole experience. Thank you Sarah.

Wish I read reviews before ordering from this store. Ordered carpet in July, advised by staff it would arrive in 3 weeks. After 5 weeks tried emailing for an update but no response. After several attempts calling the store I finally spoke to someone, but he knew nothing and his only reply was that he would speak to his manager and call me back. Never heard anything back. After repeated attempts at calling we finally heard 2 weeks later that it would be ready in 3 weeks- presumably never ordered initially. Agreed a mutually convenient date for fitting, then at 6.10 pm the evening before fitting due, received an email saying their fitter had suddenly quit and they would be in touch next week when their manager is in!!! Didn’t even have the decency to speak to us!! As we are having the whole place carpeted, we have packed up and put items in storage, so will be incurring extra costs . I’m writing this all here in the hope I might finally get to speak to someone who knows what they’re doing!!! How you can run a store with inexperienced staff unable to make any decisions is ludicrous!

Ordered bathroom vinyl from here. Did arrive late but was due to COVID so not a problem. The issue was independent fitters. Carpet right made all effort to resolve issues with fitters. Excellent customer service- special thanks to Dean and Ashley at this branch- max effort put in to help us when fitters let us down. Vinyl is excellent quality. Here are before and after photos :

Tottally useless customer service carpet fitters didnt arrive, after confirming the same morning that they were scheduled. Took time off work, moved furniture then had to move it back so we could get into the bedroom to go to bed. Go somewhere else I will next time!

Absolutely awful. I accept errors occur but not on this scale. Purchased a carpet and arranged a fitting date and paid in full (allowing for amendments for true measurements). After the surveyor came, the invoice was adjusted for some underlay, fair enough, but then other items were added that were not on the original order and they adjusted the price up for the carpet. What's worse a few days before the fitting, they called to say they could not fit on that day. So reluctantly we arranged another day. The day before this new fitting date, the office called to say they did not have the carpet and they did not know where it was so we agreed for another day for it to be fitted (should take couple of days to come in from their main warehouse). Received another phone call to say they were out of stock so it could take over 6 weeks. Agreed for someone to come over with some samples so we could chose another. The afternoon they were meant to come with the samples, I called the office to get an approx. time and they told me they could not make it. So after all this we cancelled our order and requested a refund. Surprise surprise, their system was down so they could not action the refund at that time but would refund the following day (the manager was going to call me). The Manager did nit call so I called her two days later. Once again the system was down so in frustration I told them to issue a cheque. This could take up to 14 days . After two weeks, nothing and am now being told their was a technical error with my account due to the overcharge refund and a £50 good will refund - system locked it out. However Carpetright still have not issued a refund - goods never delivered, goods not filleted and no refund. Suggest using a local firm and not touch Carpetright Salisbury (Manager always seems to be off. Pathetic service and inept staff

Great service up until the point that you pay, then it falls off a cliff. 3 months and still waiting for all my carpets to be laid. Can’t get through on the phone, no response to emails. Appalling service and highly frustrating.I will never use this firm again. I will use small independent companies as the fitter told me they cost the same and also “know what they are doing”. I suspect they care more too, they couldn’t care any less than Carpetright.

Absolutely shocking behaviour from this company, ordered a carpet for the bedroom and for the landing/stairs, paid in full on the day of visiting the shop, due to be fitted in 3 weeks, the weeks went by and on the morning of fitting only bedroom carpet was available, re-ordered land/stairs only to be told another 3/4 weeks for delivery, set up new date for fitment, and low and behold on the day of fitment, not only did they not have us booked in, the carpet wasn’t available again, after speaking to the staff, I got the impression that they couldn’t really care, they could reorder but not sure if when it would be in, had every excuse under the sun from them on how it’s not there fault!!!! Please please avoid your disappointment and shop somewhere else, happy to take your money, but you may not get what you were promised!! AVOID!!!!
