Hoyland now not worth the hassle of finding place to park all we got is bookies takeaway flower shops give us a butcher and greengrocer I might go back but until we get shops we need I'll go to town

Once again Barnsley Council have made a complete mess of Hoyland they need a big kick up you know where the car park is a waste of time the market would be better if you could get in and out and park

Hoyland Market
Very small market only a few stalls every Tuesday and Saturday but I honestly love the crafting supplies stalls. They have great variety of goods and unbeatable prices. If you are a crafter you need to visit! Go early tho because they packing from half past 1 for some reason..

Nice & modern market . But for me the market is far too small for any town centre location. 30 stalls isn’t exactly a lot. Some days only 10 sellers turn up on Saturday and Tuesday. Could do with more market days which might fetch in more traders and obviously more customers which is a no brainer. Car park is fine for such a small market . What we need is more permanent market stalls and if sellers can’t be bothered to turn up for work on market days BMBC should get rid of them . Only way this market will be a success .
