Completed a re-roof on our property, gave a paper printout of a 10 year guarantee. The roof started leaking near the chimney within the 1st 2 years and they now say this repair will not be covered in their 10 year guarantee, avoid at any cost, dishonest and incompetent roofers

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTEDI rang this company for a quote for a replacement roof for a property in Pudsey near Leeds. I spoke to a person called Andrew initially and he said he would get back to me with a rough price. I had to ring several times and on each occasion another person would answer and give an excuse to say Andrew was out etc and would contact me at certain times. Well you guess he never did. He totally wasted my time and to be honest with you, how could I take a company seriously even if the quote was favourably when they employ staff like that Andrew who is totally unprofessional and obviously uncaring of the company that he works for and the company's future.After wasting 3 days of my time, I shall now seek out a proper roofing company

We've used Martin Brooks before and they're just finishing another job for us know. They've re-pointed and re-leaded the chimney stacks on our property. They've been flexible and reliable and tidied up after the work. Would recommend!

It was straightforward to get someone out to come and look at several roofing jobs we needed doing. The estimator knew what he was talking about and was pleasant. He promised a quote by the following week.Five weeks later and the quote has never materialised. I have phoned three times in the last fortnight chasing it. Each time I am told that a message will be passed onto the member of staff or he will 'call you back when he's in this afternoon'. I have received no communication back from them and I am very disappointed.We will not be contacting them again.

An initial comprehensive & detailed quote with a 10 year guarantee, which was important as we had a full reslate of our roof. The roofers Danny and Darryl were polite and efficient and they managed to get the waterproofing material on before the torrential rains continued throughout the month of October. It was nice to have an established company with Dale overseeing the project which meant that when we encountered problems with the failing of fascia boards and window panels, he could easily access other tradesmen like Jaimie (joiner) and Harry (painter) to get everything completed whilst the scaffolding was still up.Overall a very good experience.

From first meeting with Nick to the final handover of our loft conversion, I can't recommend Martin-Brooks enough. Great team of lads and great communication throughout the project from Chris who was first on the job every morning and last off at night. Very tidy workers from start to finish. I recently had Martin brooks to complete a full re-roof to my terraced house.From the initial quotation to finishing the job everyone was very helpful and re-assuring.At quotation it was noted that there was a slipped tile where there was some damp inside the house, M-B came to fix the tile in the interim two weeks before the job commenced putting my mind at rest.Everyday the area around my house was left clean and tidy, with the yard being swept.No complaints and would highly recommend Martin-Brooks.

Used Martin brooks to do several repairs there service is appaling, carried out work which was different to the quote and they said had originally been done incorrectly and was a cover up job which doesn't work" but they did the exact same thing which I only found out by looking myself after a builder friend noticed it. I had to request they did the work which was originally agreed and to rectify the work they had already carried out. The work I was told but be less than a week but took nearer two months by the end workmen turning up for a hour then leaving for other jobs. They damaged parts of the property and left with no mention I only found out by checking myself and had to repair some of this myself and at my expense. Another part of the damage was repaired by them but only after I complained. I complained to the manager who seemed helpful but as soon as payment was made he didn't care. I would strongly recommend to use another company if this is there usual standard. Shame as they aren't the cheapest and with all the institutes their accredited members of

After being left in a really difficult position by a cowboy builder on our extension, I contacted martin-brooks for some advice. From the outset they genuinely wanted to help. They offered free advice, engaged with building regs, quoted and when asked conpleted the job as and when we needed. This wasn’t your bog standard roofing issue either, it meant taking down someone else’s dodgy work and looking for solutions to rectify issues that would meet with building regs. it involved them waiting for things like building regs and electrics to be sorted over several weeks, but through it all they were professional, polite, kind and willing to adapt. I can’t thank the whole team enough for helping us out of such a sticky situation.
