Just been in to Matthews Wool Shop withut much of an idea of what I wanted. Came out with all the wool I needed and then some for my project. There isn't much Marilyn doesn't know about knitting so was very happy. She also doesn't try to get you to buy more than you need either which means she looks after her customers :)

Loved this place, best variety of colour I've seen, decent price and the shop keeper is lovely. They were very knowledgeable, happy to pull out any yarn and make suggestions based on my criteria. No rush or pressure. It is cash only, but there are loads of ATM's near by.

If you like wool, this is definitely a shop not to be missed! Stumbled across it accidentally but I'm so glad I did. The woman serving behind the counter didn't seem like she was just doing a job" and was genuinely interested in wool and creativity

If you need help selecting the right yarn for a project you definitely need to speak to the lady here, she's extremely helpful. The range available is also fantastic for a yarn addict like myself, well worth a visit. Just remember to bring cash rather than cards.

Lovely little shop and has a huge variety of yarn, all different weights and colours. Friendly sevice too, both times I've been, the ladies have given great advice.
