Really want to like this place but all I can think about is the previous operation which offered a larger selection of food and made the place warmer and welcoming. The new operators are friendly but it's nit quite there yet. Maybe time will tell

What a lovely little place, eclectic decor and a really vintage rustic feel to all of it. Such a cute cafe and nice coffee, staff were friendly and very kind to my dad who has come here a few times. I appreciate how nice they were to him.

A nice and rather quaint type of cafe. Not the plastic chairs and tables so common. Obviously they are affected by the covid rules but they have a reasonable menu from snacks to meals. They had a gluten free cake on the menu which was nice. All in a nice place for a snack etc if you are that way.

No longer the Ravenous cafe, now a coffee shop. It was an unexpected surprise to find things had changed since our last annual visit for the sculpture trail, but change happens and we’re no worse off for it.The eclectic ambience is fabulous - transporting you far away from the national coffee shop chains of mediocrity and standardisation. The selection of cakes, quiche, sausage rolls (including vegan) and crisps were limited, but all five of my group enjoyed every one.Yes it’s different to that we’ve experienced and enjoyed previously (best to take note if you’re intending to travel any distance - things change!), but it’s a delightful coffee shop to visit and the surrounding shops a great mix of trades and wares.

Truly lovely place. Honestly the best café I've been to in years. It's décor is different that anywhere I can think of locally. I'll put a couple photos up so people understand what I mean.We had two breakfasts and 1 ham sandwich. All very good. Ham wasn't the processed rubbish that is in so many places these days. Breakfasts were great.Staff very friendly. A lovely place to go just for lunch, if not visiting the local shops nearby.

The Rav? Its an experience, the eccentric collection of stuff that greets you on arrival is just the start, inside i was expecting a cafe with lunch / brunch but things have changed. The new ethos is to focus on arts and crafts. The former cafe now has an amazing collection of quality rugs at good prices. The new cafe offers a more restricted menu of cakes and drinks, the tea was great and the coffee amazing.I had Paradise cake and my lady had Bakewell slice, both were fab.We sat on worn sofas of eclectic styling with rustic decor, everything for sale!It was relaxed and fun. There us an amazing quality of art and ceramics on offer. We are looking forward to the sculpture trail later this year

Visited today with friends for the annual Sculpture Trail which was excellent then had lunch at the café. A pleasant seating area situated at the entrance. All seating was outside due to Covid but was covered and well spaced out. A comprehensive menu for light lunches and good quality food. The cakes looked and tasted gorgeous. I had tomato and basil soup which was very tasty with two generous chunks of brown artisan bread and butter. Overall a very good lunch and to be recommended.

We visited the Sculpture Trail and had a snack afterwards. All cakes and sausage rolls were delicious, but the service was unbelievably slow. The bright spot was the gentleman who served our drinks eventually, who was very amiable!
