Posh Nails Salon

My sister had an extremely upsetting experience in this salon. She was refused a french nail polish because according to the technician, her hand was too twisted and it would be too difficult.My sister has Cerebral Palsy and her hand turns inward slightly. Although, this has never stopped her from having a french polish in the past. It's something she has enjoyed for many years. She tried to explain this to the technician, but the women just kept saying 'no'.My sister had to leave the salon feeling completely rejected, shocked and upset. The technician did not apologise for her rude behaviour.This kind of discrimination against a disabled person is completely unacceptable! It may have been difficult for the technician to manage my sisters hand, but not impossible.I called the manager to complain about the way she was treated, but still no apology was given. He repeated the rhetoric that it was too difficult. I find this hard to believe when it's a procedure my sister has been having for decades.I do hope this review will make the staff at Posh Nails Salon think very carefully about how they treat disabled people in the future. Kindness and understanding goes a long way.

First time going here and they are the best nails iv had since moving to essex, they did exactly what i wanted no ifs or ums, thank you very much to the posh nails team, 100% recommend

Fantastic nail bar, reasonable prices, never had one single chip in the polish or have a nail break and I have mine done every 3 weeks £24 for infills with shellac and £33 for a full set of acrylics with shellac

I love going there,the owner is a lovely person and my nails always look beautiful,I would recommend it to anyone

Easy to book, care and time taken over my nails

First time going, I dropped in and was greeted straight away, I explained what I wanted and they managed to fit me in with a gentleman after a 5 minute wait. Nails were done quickly, not over an hour like I've had at other places, they weren't rushed, they look great and am very happy with my nails
