The Creative Venue

I would highly recommend Claire and the team at Creative Venue! They recently provided decorations for our wedding at The Gardens in Yalding. Everything was so beautiful and our guests loved it! Claire made the whole process so smooth and was always at hand to answer our questions and offer advice. We couldn’t have asked for a better service!

Beth and her team were really helpful during the booking process and very efficient with set up and take down. The backdrop we hired looked perfect on our wedding day.

I had the best experience with the ladies that work at creative venue. They created the look I wanted to dress my wedding venue and provided the outdoor lighting too. I dear mainly with Beth however all the ladies on the day were incredible. They looked at cost effective options and were extremely helpful when there were changes to the plan/numbers. Very thankful to these ladies. I would recommend and wish you all the success.

We had a very definite view of how we wanted our venue to look. We knew it was quite different and we knew it was a bit out of the ordinary. When we were looking for someone to style our venue, we met with so many suppliers who showed either a vague passing interest in our plans or a complete lack of attention to detail when quoting that we were beginning to despair that no one would ever truly “get us”. That changed when we met Claire from ‘The Creative Venue’ at the Detling Wedding Experience. From that first meeting she was as excited as we were about our wedding and threw herself into the detail straight away, suggesting creative ideas to make our vision even better, all before we had even agreed prices and signed contracts – she was just happy to share her expertise with us.Claire was always excited to see us, like we were her family. She was patient and good humoured, even when we gave her a 32 page PowerPoint presentation of ideas, likes and dislikes (sorry Claire), she actually liked it. She was very reassuring and always happy to meet with the venue and other suppliers to make sure that we were all on the same page, she’s a real team player.We had so much to do that we didn’t really feel excited in the run up to our wedding, until the afternoon before our wedding when we saw our venue and the styling taking shape. In truth, whilst we knew Claire was very capable and we trusted her to bring our vision to life, we never really felt that anyone would get it 100% right, no one could every really take what was inside our heads and actually get it exactly right- ummm… we were so completely wrong. Claire did exactly that! She took a completely white room and worked with our florist, Jill from Passion Floral Design, to create the magical winter woodland for us, complete with lots of moss, twigs, twisted willow, ivy, with lots of warmth coming from deep reds, velvets, rose golds, candles by the bucket loads, hundreds of fairly lights, uplighters, crates, drapes, sequin drapes, paper lanterns, it was beautiful. We said that we didn’t want to turn on any overhead lights and that we wanted all the light in the room to come from the ambient light provided by the candles, fairly lights, uplighters etc – well they achieved just that, the room glowed, no harsh overhead lighting was needed. The photos really don’t do it justice.The one word our guests used over and over again to describe the way everything looked was ‘magical’. Even the staff at the venue said they had never seen the venue look that way before and the following day, staff who weren’t working our wedding told us they had been sneaking in to have a look because they had all heard how beautiful and different it looked. That would never have happened without Claire and her team. They went above and beyond and did things that we wouldn’t have expected them to do and we truly feel like they are friends now. Claire knew exactly what would work and made our vision a reality, which made our day absolutely perfect. We only wish we could have had an extra day to enjoy it all for longer.

Jenny and team did the most amazing job of our flowers and venue dressing for our twilight wedding at The Gardens in Yalding. We had had several dates due to covid and were very fortunate that they were able to move each time and 18 months after the original date we finally made it! Having gone from a big april wedding to finally an intimate twilight wedding in october we had no idea of how we wanted it to look but Jenny took our vague idea of 'twinkly, autumn' and made everything look so pretty, we couldnt have been happier! beautiful flowers, stunning venue dressing and just a delight to deal with, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Jenny and Creative Venues.

Creative are one of the most professional and talented venue dressers I have ever come across. Everything was perfect and the attention to detail was flawless. Each member of staff I dealt with went above and beyond to make sure the day went smoothly and our dream vision came to life. Cannot recommend and thank creative enough
