Good variety of carpets and well priced. Incredibly poor customer service in store which ruins the whole experience. The fitters do a great job but almost no communication with the store and will show up pretty much anytime of the day. The representatives in at the store have no concern about customer experience, so if you have any issues - you're not going to get any help and/or get treated very rudely. If you have alternative sources for your products I would say avoid this place even if its a case of paying a bit more. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time I had issues with them, but had the same experience the second time.

Graham in the shop was very friendly and helpful. The carpet fitters arrived on time,They fitted the carpet very quickly, it looks perfect. Very reasonable price would definitely recommend.

I'm a professional landlord who have used an alternative company for 10 years previously. I decided to try Calverts. The plus side is that the price of the carpets is extremely competitive. The downside is that the staff are so incompetent that they didn't even include underlay in the initial quote. This was rectified once I pointed it out. The fitters are subcontractors and the fitting quality is very poor. They left a considerable amount of rubbish in the front garden as per the picture. I will absolutely never use again. Cheap and a shambles.

A fantastic experience at Calverts. Will looked after our rather complicated orders for different carpets which our builder was ordering on our behalf. He responded immediately to phone calls and kept us fully informed about delivery dates etc.The carpets look absolutely first rate and I recommend Calverts wholeheartedly.

Rubbish experience at the Ripon branch. We went in yesterday to ask if they could fit a carpet before Christmas, they said they had a free day on the 22nd and we could be measured in the morning. To be on the safe side we asked if we could reserve a slot to be on the safe side as we were clearly buying a carpet from them as we have done many times. Told that we couldn’t reserve a slot but the diary was free that day, explained the property was being ket to a family and we needed it before 3rd Jan, no problem, get measured quickly and have the carpet fitted on the 22nd. Carpet was measured this morning, popped in as agreed to order carpet, lady was pretty unhelpful, gave incorrect info and then advised we wouldnt get fitted until mid Jan, I was pretty confused given the conversation with the same lady yesterday. These mistakes do happen however there is no excuse for poor customer service, this is a mistake and a very stupid system on their part - and the customer response was literally a verbal shrug. Times are difficult for businesses at the moment and companies like this with such poor customer skills who dont work with customers to reach any sort of resolution deserve to lose business. I imagine their response to my review will be a defensive one. Could I suggest you get the lady serving us some customer service training - its not fair on her to not be equipped to deal with complaints arising from a very ineffective system.
