Pumpkin Cafe

After looking at his phone for a while the sever eventually looked up and noticed me. I Asked for a decaf hazelnut soya latte, medium size. I got a half filled cup that burned my mouth it was so hot, no hazelnut and definitely no sense of customer service or care. It tasted pretty grim too. First and last time I’ll be visiting.

Terrible customer services. Never visiting the store again. I am a regular customer and this is not a one-off bad experience I have had before. Felt singled out as a young Asian lady- other customers were different races were treated with friendlier and inviting tone. Coffee is overpriced as well.

Staff two ladies were incredibly rude. Swearing while serving, go next door for a coffee.

Went in for my coffee…. Lauren served me and great customer service…made sure I got what I wanted and offered great service!!

Desultory service. 3 servers but no one bothered to serve us. Americano tasteless and made with boiling water. Don't bother.

I have had ten years of the best of customer service from Sharon and her team!

Why do you feel the need to gender magazines by male and female interests?House & garden and slimming for women and trains, planes and crypto for men.. DO BETTER

I can only assume this cafe has come under new management since the last several reviews, as I have been visiting regularly on my morning commutes for the last 2 or 3 years (both before and after various lockdowns) and have always had extremely positive experiences.None of the descriptions in other reviews match the lovely blonde-haired lady I am nearly always served by, who is consistently friendly and attentive and has even offered different coffee recommendations on the occasions when I've been undecided and asked.I find the pastries to be very high quality - the croissants especially are my favourite, always crisp and flavourful (and in my opinion much better than Pret's). The coffee has always been fresh and tasty and they offer a full range of milk alternatives.The range of packaged snacks and drinks is good. There is usually a small selection of fresh fruit available as well.All in all I find it the perfect place to grab breakfast before my morning train journey. They have a loyalty card and I have filled one twice already! Highly recommend.(also google has their opening times wrong - they claim the cafe opens at 9am, but I am often at the station around 7am and delighted to find it already open with machines up and running, so very early commuters should not be fooled, you can easily make use of their delicious services!)

Extremely rude staff. Specifically the English girl who was busy speaking to another English girl who was irritated on being interrupted. I asked if they had bottled water which was not cold she curtly said no and continued talking. My friend bought a bottle of water was waiting with her to pay the same girl Lauren most likely or whatever her name was again angrily said can’t you see the previous payment is still going through. At this point I lost it and told my friend how rude the staff was and this person started screaming you are the one who is rude. I want to make an official complaint as we were treated like that because we are not white. Horrible horrible experience.

Fantastic service with a smile, sandwiches exceptional.
