Awful experience hairdresser messed my hair up refused a refund even though I allowed to attempts to fix it. And I'm now currently 200 pound in and still going on having it corrected by a professional.

The hair salon is lovely, the staff are very friendly and professional. They stick to the rules which are in place.Been a few times very Happy with the way they do my hair.Would recommend to get your hair done there.

Best hairdresser in the Area. Lovely new salon and experienced staff. Jamie the owner is bubbly and welcoming. Nothing is too much for them and they take pride in their work.

Been going to jamie for 5 years now but today was my first appointment since becoming a mum. Had my daughter with me whos now 7 days old and whilst having my hair done she allowed me to breastfeed my baby. Not many salons allow you to do this but with jamie and her amazing staff they allow you to do what need to. I have recommended her to all my family who are now clients. Nothing is ever to much trouble for her and she does my hair fantastic everytime.

On the 21st August I attended this salon for a maintenance freshen up of my existing balyage, specifically to change the tones of my hair. I showed the stylist pictures of what I was aiming for and she confirmed this was fine. The colour was applied to my hair, and then a toner. This toner was left on too long, presumably as the stylist was also attending to THREE other clients with just one assistant. When my hair was being dried my hair was a lot darker than started, and wanting to go blonde the results were not as i expected. Therewfore, i questioned it to the stylist and she justified that it was lighter at the bottom. I left the salon close to tears and didn't allow the stylist to cut or finish my hair. I contacted the salon and Jamie the owner offered to fix my hair admitting it was NOTHING like the picture. I returned to the salon, and again left unhappy, this time with patches of brassy colour, the most uneven colour I've seen in some time! Again the salon was over subscribed and Jamie actually applied bleach to my hair with a comb... I have asked for a refund as I have no faith in this salon and Jamie refused, but offered a further appointment. When I raised concerns about both the salons ability and the condition of my hair, they offered olaplex treatments taking no regard for the over processing of my hair, or how this distress was caused by their ineptitude! I declined and have since returned to my normal salon to have the hair assessed, and am facing a bill in the hundreds to correct the absolute carnage they have left. I am disgusted, and will not be returning, and will be commencing litigation to claim the costs for the correction. I have attached a photo of the patchy work left by Jamie, which clearly shows the standards of this 'salon'. They have celebrated 4 years of business recently, and I noticed that two of these were during COVID... This answers how such unskilled staff can last this amount of time in the industry, they spent 2 years of it at home, or restricted on numbers of clients! Sadly now they are not restricted on numbers, greed means they are over committing and under delivering!

Highly recommended! Jamie has been doing my hair for 8 years now, so it's great to see that she's opened her own salon and now has a team of hairdressers, make-up artists etc working for her. The atmosphere in Sheppard & Co is always friendly and welcoming, and they offer a great service but are also the cheapest hair salon in Cosham! Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else :)
