Nice bar within the picture house. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The bar is tucked away down the corridor but there is outdoor seating.

Decent little music venue here. My only irk was the drinks were pretty bad (multiple glasses of rum and coke, not even filled evenly, all the same price). But I guess that was just a one off.The crowd and barstaff seem really nice. It was great to see some hard techno in sheffield in a venue that seemed very safe and which doesn't conform to the usual club space.

SpeakEasy Bar at Abbeydale Picture House
This is easily one of the best venues in Sheffield. Intimate vibe, great beers and consistently banging music. I’ve struggled to find anywhere in Sheffield that plays decent leftfield house, techno, disco and pretty much anything that isn’t just bassline.. I can see this being a real gem for the future!
