Pasta is quite authentic, but the highlight must be the dessert! Highly recommend the cannolis and gelato - we came back for these multiple times.

Love the food here. So authentic and tasty! We ordered 6 dishes and all of them were good. The service was great too.

We came back one year after our first review and it's still a great place with good food, good value for money and authentic.Service is fast, so you can eat between 2 Fringe shows really easily.The caneloni Al ragu were very tasty and the tiramisu extremely good.There are loads of different types of canoli too.

If you're looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Edinburgh, this is probably the right place. We were there for dinner and the food was as good as in Italy. I really recommend the fresh pasta and polpette.

What’s delightful restaurant! It felt authentic yet had its modern twists. Decor is eclectic and the staff was friendly and made us laugh all night. The pork sausage crostini was the show stopper.

Brilliant food and great service. The atmosphere is lovely and we loved the artwork on the wall as well. The food is really tasty and the service is great and the staff are friendly and helpful

Myself and my friend decided to go here for some ice cream as it looked very appealing.Upon arrival there were 3-4 staff members behind and in front of the counter and it took a few minutes before anyone gave us any attention, which wasn’t a big deal but it did feel unusual. Finally a girl who struggled to speak English took our order, also no big deal as we managed to communicate. However, when we had paid for our ice cream we went to sit down on some stools directly in front of the ice cream counter and the girl said “just takeaway” I said can we not sit here? She said “no sorry just takeaway” I looked further back in the restaurant to see multiple people sitting and asked why are they sitting then? She said because it’s dinner. Another rude women behind the counter loudly said “ice cream is takeaway”. It seemed very rude and very poor customer service.Imagine paying 7 pound for some ice cream and being denied the right to sit down in the middle of a Scottish winter!! Shameful attitude to customers. There were many free tables and two tables with stools that looked to be specifically for the ice cream counter.To top it all off the ice cream was awful, probably the worst I’ve ever had.

Really good food in my experience, not everyone in my company had the same feeling, such as the carbonara being too creamy, but my Agnello spaghetti was great. The dessert I had was also delicious! It is the panacotta with caramel, and almost every dessert had ice cream as a side too.

Authentic Italian food, family atmosphere. Clean and fast service. Don't leave without trying one of their delicious desserts, Tartufo is my favourite.
