Very quaint park, good to have an afternoon picnic with family, children's play park is sizeable. Plenty of food nearby as this is in the heart of the city.

Is a nice big area for children to let off energy. Nice big fences all around protect young children from running off. Damaged equipment is removed/ replaced fairly quickly and is a place visited by a multitude of languages, religions and cultures which is amazing, However on several occasions my child with special needs has been bullied and harassed by groups of older children mostly teenage girls with head coverings. So visit by all means but stay close to your children and be prepared to stand up to teenagers if you have to. Also, please stay close to very young children. I have seen a few run towards the swings and get hurt with no parent in sight.

Absolutely GORGEOUS park after me and the Mrs have finished our DAILY clean up and been around disposing of EVERYBODY ELSES DISGUSTING LITTER!!! If people were more conscientious and caring of the local environment it would always be a beautiful little retreat right in the centre of town :)

We enjoyed the playground after a shopping trip. The playground itself is nice, but it's much more appropriate for older children. The climbing frame in the middle means you can not see one end to the other.Also keep in mind there are busy roads on two sides of the playground, I wouldn't want to visit regularly due to car pollution.

Really lovely place to picnic.Lots of families enjoying the nice weather and the play park.Great to see local police officers on bicycles regularly patrolling.Felt really safe.
