Ordered a Combination Mortice/Marking Gauge Rosewood #14C online. Because of it high price, I thought I was buying a high quality tool. Upon receipt I noticed the marking pins were of different lengths (see photo). Waste of time and money. Very disappointed.In response to owner:Ordered gauge 23/Feb. Delivered 27/Feb. Notified distributor and manufacturer of faulty gauge same day. Today (3/Mar) distributor requested return of faulty gauge at my expense before replacement would be sent. More time/money/fuel wasted organising return postage.Total outlay so far is $105, and I have nothing for it. Enough is enough. Requested refund of all monies paid.

Very pleased with my trial 1 box set. Tools look great and you can tell they are made to an unbeatable standard. I haven't used them yet and I'm impressed.

Fantastic tools, you won't find better.

I acquired the 'Trial 1 180th Anniversary kit' and it is absolutely beautiful. The weight and quality of tools far exceeds any of the similar style tools I have had in the past. I can tell a lot of hard work, time, thought, and care went into making these tools. While these tools are worthy of displaying in a cabinet and kept untouched, I will continue to use them and only hope to do them justice. Thank you to all those that keep the tradition of fine tool making alive.
