A beautiful little spot for a short walk! The paths are very narrow though with lots of roots so not suitable for large prams.

Lovely views of the estuary. The nature reserve is small but quite perfect. Dogs must be kept on the lead as there are a lot of ground nesting birds.

Finally a park with no dog muck!! Wonderful volunteer ran reserve with different areas of foliage for wildlife e.g. Shrubs and heathland. Lots of small game birds nesting there in season aswell. With lovely views of Wales.

Cleaver Heath Nature Reserve
Great little nature trail perfect for younger kids who don't like walking too far. There's a lot of bumps and uneven ground so wouldn't say it suitable for prams. Links up with Heswall Dales if you want to go further but a nice 15-20 mins in nature is sometimes all you can fit in! Great views over the Dee!

Cleaver Heath Nature Reserve
This is a stunning walk full of wildlife and managed by the Cheshire wildlife trust, its a gentle walk but I’m afraid not easily accessible for wheel chair users due to the nature of the terrain. It has stunning views of the wirral and welsh coast.
