Gardens by Jacqui

I asked Jacqui to design a garden from scratch for my new-build house. She has done a beautiful job and saw the whole project through from muddy grass to the finished garden. She has vast knowledge of plants and a good eye. The front garden gets a lot of admiring comments from neighbours and people walking by.

After visiting a friend in Alresford and seeing the stunning transformation of both her front and rear gardens, I immediately asked for the details of her garden designer. Jacqui visited me shortly afterwards in March 2019 to review the two borders which were in much need of revitalising. The first was a pear shaped border in front of the house, and the second was a severely overgrown 45m border adjacent to the driveway. Within a month of commissioning Jacqui, she had prepared a superb planting plan which provided year round interest and with very little maintenance. The pear shaped border was swiftly planted up by Jacqui with excellent quality plants and looked glorious, whilst the 45m border took a while for me to clear, deweed and dig over. By late August, the plants were ordered and my mid September Jacqui planted them all and both the borders looked amazing. I took so much pleasure from looking at the borders over the very wet autumn and winter, and since March when the rain finally stopped I have been outside every day enjoying them to their full potential. I cannot thank Jacqui enough for reinvigorating my two borders, and look forward to working with her on a further border in the back garden.

From the outset Jacqui understood what was needed to join the garden to the house and make the transition from one to the other seamless.The design has opened up the existing patio making it and the garden look much larger.Jacqui knew we wanted to include a variety of plants and colour to our garden. The planting scheme fully hits the brief. We would not hesitate to recommend Jacqui to anyone who wishes to transform their garden

We are absolutely thrilled with everything Jacqui did, she really listened to our requirements and presented a wonderful professional design, supplied all the plants and did all the planting. We had our garden completely landscaped in early 2020. Jacqui was excellent in helping us refine our requirements for the garden and presented us with a fantastic design. She guided us throughout the whole process, always being on hand to answer any questions we had and we couldn't be more pleased with the finished result. Even in the first 6 months from completion, there has been continuous interest and colour from the different plants and architectural elements in the garden. We didn't enjoy sitting out in the garden before we had the work done, but now our garden provides us with a space to relax, entertain and be proud of - Thank you Jacqui.
