When stuck outside of the car park, i called up and explained my friends live 2+ hours away, I asked if they could come and open the shutters as we can’t get homes and would be stuck in bristol and they refused, saying there was no one on site. 10 minutes later the same guy from the phone came downstairs and opened the shutters for a different guy who came along and needed to desperately get out. Only let us in as we were waiting beside the other guy.

I'm sad to see this going downhill so sad, empty units like the rest of Broadmead, Bristol City Council don't want people to go there because they just want to turn it all into Student accommodation. They are doing their best to make it fail.

I love wandering around Thornbury. An unspoilt small town, it is like taking step back in time, Every building is well kept but not changed. I park my car, at the bottom of Castle Street, the castle and the church and start my half mile saunter up to the High Street.There is free parking in the town centre with a 2 hour limit, which I rarely use as I know I will be there for longer. ENJOY.

What's it matter? The whole place is being demolished in 2025. I know what'd be a great substitute..... some student flats. A really big boost for Bristol's retail economy.... >sigh<

Not as good as it used to be but I would shop here again. Needs a few more decent shops like peacocks or Edinburgh wool mill. Poundland, Wilkins are just a few that I can think of.

The shopping centre itself is amazing, spacious with plenty of brands and food chains to choose from.The parking is another story,We were from out of town visiting and parked and went on with our day only to find out later that the parking has closed and locked our cars in. There is no one come and fix this in case of emergency. And we had to stay the night.
