Fantastic lunch, great service. Highly recommended if you are in the area.They also do a lovely pint of the Irish. (Guinness)

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, quiet location and really welcoming owners. Was there yesterday and food was superb, I'll definetly come back in future.

We are staying near the Royal George, and booked a table for lunchtime. The food was excellent and served beautifully by a charming lady. We have booked again for Wednesday evening which is our fish and chips night. Looking forward to it

We went to Arthur's Retreat campsite Hepworth in our motorhome and decided to bike down to the Royal George at Barningham as it was the closest pub. I'm glad we did because we had a lovely meal there. The pub is a beautiful old building with beams and a lovely fireplace. The land lady was very welcoming as were the other staff . I had read in other reviews that things were a bit rushed ... not in our case though. We had a couple of drinks prior to ordering and then went to our table. The menu was extensive and although the focus was definitely on fish and sea food, there was also an additional menu with meat options .We went for a prawn cocktail and a crayfish starter which were both lovely . We then had a large portion of cod and a sirloin steak. The steak was fabulous and the option of new potatoes in place of the chips was a nice touch. My husband loved the cod and said the batter was very light.We weren't going to have a dessert but gave in to temptation... I had a meringue with fruit and ice cream and my husband had a chocolate and coconut cheesecake which he enjoyed.All in all we really enjoyed the meal, the welcome from the staff and the friendly atmosphere and would most definitely return

Olde Worlde Pub with nice beer and food. Owners friendly and food served promptly. My haddock was lovely!

Food was excellent and very attentive service. We had fish, Cromer crab and Skate. Both were excellent. A real find for good food and pleasant surroundings. Maybe it would have been nicer to eat in the main body of the pub rather than there restaurant area, purely for more intemacy.
